Pretty Boring, it looked a lot like a kids movie.

This was awesome! So funny, yet leaves you with something to think about. Zac Efron did a GREAT job, just in general a very good interpretation of the book. Stuff is added but the message stays the same. I saw it twice, once with my friend then again because I told my family to see it. 3D was pretty good too.

I actually enjoyed the show. It was colorful in everyway and a story well told in this kinda musical animation.

This movie was a musical event. With lots of colorful pictures and lovable characters. Dr. Seuss's world come to life on the big screen with laughs and tons of adventure. So I recommend this movie for the family and Dr. Seuss lovers!

It is so GOOD! I'm 18, and it was fantastic! I laughed lots. Definitely worth going to see! Seriously, you should go, like right now, shut down to the computer, laptop, iphone, ipad, or whatever and drive to the theatre. Go!

It was really interesting until some gross thing happened the movie would be better if there was no gross thing.

Well first of all I think it's an AWESOME movie.

Such a great fleshing out of Dr. Suess' original rhyming environmental parable; this film exceeded my expectations in all areas! An instant classic!!!
| 9/10 | shaedumas@ - 7 reviews 13.6.2012 - age: 26-35 |
It delivers an important message in a way that is entertaining for both children and adults. I was impressed to see that the visuals for this movie were much better than the ones in John Carter.

It was funny and the animals are SO adorable! The 3D effects are surprisingly amazing.

I loved this movie great for the whole family, although it was kinda strange and the evil guy was strange and there was too much singing, it was funny too, I don't like how they tell the part about the Lorax in a story, I liked how they had unique items that we don't have, I think you should go see it right now!
| 8/10 | b_stier@ - 2 reviews 27.5.2012 - age: 1-12 |
A bit quick in the beginning, but giving the Once-ler a face and personality really helps connect everyday people to the idea that even good people and good intentions aren't all good in the end. The songs were very nice and quite catchy, a few good laughs, and the ending made me shed a tear :) touching ending.

This film has a good message, and is good for kids... that being said, there are so many better childrens' films out there, why waste your time on this clunker? Us adults at least want to be entertained, reasonably so, when we take our kid to the movies, so should we be forced to sit through a dog when doing so? The "Lorax" is supposed to a guardian of the forest (Nature, mother Earth, that sort of thing), but he does absolutely nothing to stop man's negative influence. Not a good example for our kids, eh? Oh well, the film means well, I don't know if the message was lost on my 5 yr old, but for sheer entertainment you could do a lot better with one of Disney's other offerings.

Dr Seuss (or Theodor Seuss Geisel) was way ahead of his time... what an amazing author... throughout the movie I kept wondering when he wrote this story... turns out his book was published in 1971... the movie itself it cute, nice visuals, and I enjoyed the message of the danger that corporate greed poses to our way of living... bring your children... as a movie it's bearable, but not the best ;)

A wonderfully imaginative Dr. Seuss classic. If you grew up with the original Lorax movie, this one is a must see. You will be able to relate to all of the characters. You have to be pretty dull and unimaginative to not enjoy this movie. :( Ed Helms was genius! Danny Devito was superb! The music was spectacular and the movie drew you in, almost as if you were there! If you have an imagination and are not an unimaginative 'bottled air drinking' 'greedy dirtbag' like Mr. O'Hare - go see it now! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!! ~

I expected more. Instead I got an Eco N a z I piece of propaganda aimed at brainwashing kids into being green. This stinker is very thin on plot. You couldn't pay me to sit thru it again.

I love this movie so much. Not only will it have you smiling from ear to ear, but you'll also shed one or two tears. I've seen it four times in theaters already, it was sooo worth it. Even /if/ everyone knows me as that one person that sobbed each time she saw it. It has an amazing plot and is the best movie I've seen in a LONG time, if not ever. They did the characters justice and made almost every girl love the Once-ler. Regardless, it's a very good family film. GO SEE IT. MULTIPLE TIMES.

I liked the movie but the kids liked it more than I. It was entertaining and predictable. If you have children 12 and under it's worth the price.
| 7/10 | debverge@ - 10 reviews 12.4.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Sleeper, wait I did fall asleep. Not near as good as Horton or even Cat in the Hat. This movie is better to watch at home so you don't have to watch it. With that said my girls loved it and said I'm nuts. They would give it a ten, so who's nuts.

The besst movie I've ever seen, the little orange dude is so funny (lorax) I think he is the best character in the whole movie, he is even better than the girl, boy, and the grandma. I would watch it a hundred times if I could, but I'd get bored I think this movie might be better than Mirror Mirror, my friend (Chloe) thinks mirror mirror was better but I do not believe her. She also thinks that the popcorn there was better but it was not. Wow she does not know her movies or her popcorn. But I do.

My grandkids pleaded with me to take them and I was pleasently surprised. Under this highly animated, brightly colored, adventure movie there is a good life message about (going green) and saving the trees. It was most enjoyable. My 11 yr old got the message and that made it all worth it. This is a keeper.

I think this movie is outstanding, kids would love it, there are funny characters. The movie itself is funny and it's cartoon and in my opinion I think cartoon movies are awesome. The Lorax is my favourite movie of all time.

I am a fan of Dr. Seuss and animation. As an environmentalist, I hear the message, loud and clear, if only because this movie beats you senseless with it. 94 minutes? Wow, it felt more like 2 hours. They could have cut that down. As a side note, I have no idea why Hollywood keeps making these types of movies. The book came out in the early 70s and nothing has changed. If anything, things have gotten worse. Give it up.
