When I saw the trailer I was hoping for a nice movie but instead I find a long and slow flick with almost no content and the ending sucks.

Terrible movie, I gave it the benefit of the doubt but the truth is it was a mediocre story with an ending that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I've seen many french canadian movies and most of them are good, but this one was just awful.

I saw a special screening of this movie months ago and even though it was free, I felt like it was a total waste. I didn't expect it to have this much fantasy elements, it was just odd, cringe worthy at times. Female child actress steals the spotlight and it only gets good in the last ten minutes.

Great movie; takes you back in time to a village, nice people, trying to find ways to feed themselves and thier kids in hard times. Great cast, funny and sometimes sad. I like Luc Picard, he does great job. I loved the ending, very interesting. Don't miss it; great family movie for the holidays.

A good movie, interesting story. I think this is a family movie. Nicola-Frank Vachon and the rest of the cast did a good job. It was funny and emotional. I think it makes you proud cause it's French Canadian.
