As a fan of the comic book mini-series/graphic novel, there is absolutely no question that this is THE BEST adaptation ever committed to screen. The director, Zack Snyder, literally used the book as his storyboards and you can see his respect for the source material in every frame of the picture. The ending, though slightly changed, is actually an improvement over the original Outer Limits inspired plot (and look for a tip of the hat to the TV series in one of the final scenes of the movie) I will agree that the movie is NOT intended for a younger audience. Also if you are someone that has absolutely no attention span from years of watching music videos, reality TV and bad sitcoms, then you should probably avoid this movie as you would a public library. For the rest of you, see why Time magazine rated the Watchmen graphic novel as one of the top 100 novels of all time.
