This movie was quite unremarkable. The action sequences were fun and somewhat inventive and the CGI was good, but the acting was deplorable and the story was very clearly intended for a youthful audience. All the actors performed their roles in stilted, awkward fashion, but Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid, in particular, stank up the scenes they were in. The plot of the movie was pretty mindless, relying heavily on explosions and what-not for interest and offering only the shallowest interactions between characters. But, what else could one expect from this kind of movie? It promised silly, cartoon action and it delivered. Enjoy!
