It's over the top, full of clichés and the acting is so-so but It's also very well laid out and technically flawless. Overall I think it was an enjoyable movie but certainly not the masterpiece most make it out to be. Out of the purely aesthetical beauty of this film and its technical merits, I don't understand all the Oscar nominations.
