Scream4 is worthy of the rest of the Scream movies. It still makes fun of itself without LOL moments, and it still provides multiple suspects.

This movie continues right after the other 3 films it was great seeing Neve, Courtney, David back and they were better than ever. I loved the end of the movie you never expect who the killer is. The killing in this movie was pretty cool and I love the voice of ghostface. It is as good as the other movies in the series.

I loved this movie!!! But yet I'm a big fan of Neve and Emma And Ghost face ;)

Good to see them again but really the next Scream should be called "Stop screaming already". I liked the beginning of this movie and the twist was not much of one for me but it was still not bad.

Felt like it was ok. The turn of events for the real killer's identity was somehow unexpected if even slightly unrealistic but hey, it's a scream movie!

[...] it's good seeing Neve, David, and Courtney back, better than ever, hillarious.

Despite the repetitive killings of poorly developed characters that nobody cared about, and although releasing a fourth installment seemed useless to a series which had its last installment release over a decade ago, this slasher somehow worked as humour and twists came out of this "predicted-to-be" pointless fourth installment, which was the ultimate icing on a cake filled with blood, and organs.

Best of all the scream movies, the killers were really unexpected... great movie a must see.

Went to see Scream 4 tonight (as a horror freak it was inevitable!) I wasn't ready for it to be THAT GOOD!!! After 10 years I didn't think they could come with something that would reinvent the franchise. Kudos!!! They did an amazing job!! Ghostface is back and boy is he in shape for a slice and dice marathon, cant wait to see it again and again!!! Hope there will be a fifth one who will be as great!!! Higly recommended!!!

I liked this movie. It was pretty good. It was a good continuation of the franchise and I'm glad to see Neve, David and Courtney come back. It was also nice to see a group of up and comer actors/actresses round out the cast. Then it wasn't so much of the same old same old. And I like how they keep updating the technology to go with the time. It made for new and interesting things to have the internet and the WEB involved. Ghostface Killer doing some of his stalking through Facebook and online video feeds. It made it better. And I had no idea who one of the killers was. Surprised me actually. I recommend this for a good scare.

Scream 4 started with a boom, and ended in a boom. The prologue was comedic, and entertaining. The conclusion was unexpected, and intriguing. However, in between it wasn't good. The biggest factor in making a good movie is if the beginning, and ending is good, then people will stay in their seats. The beginning was great, and the ending was even better, however the film in the middle was boring. Boring in the sense that the killings were so non-stop it was like playing "Black Ops" in Nuketown where everyone is dying constantly. Too much killing gets boring. The main problem with too much killing is the final kill isn't that spectacular because the killings previous to the final one were bloodier, and more disgusting. Save the best kill for last or else the final kill will be lame. All in all, too much killing, but it was actually a decent slasher picture with a great introduction and conclusion.

It was okay it's just that there was not a lot of scary parts.

It's sooo good and the actors were good as well as the plot!! You won't expect the killer at the end :)

It wasn't too bad... I enjoyed seeing Neve back on the screen... but really... could have gone with only having the first couple Scream movies made.
| 5/10 | teenahiltz@ - 22 reviews 6.5.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Neve Campbell turns in a good performance. It's nice to see her hanging in there at an age when Hollywood usually throws away pretty, but-not-so-young-anymore actresses. There are strong female characters, but none of the unrealistic feminist super heroine nonsense that has become so common since Buffy. Suspenseful and entertaining, but not a film for those who cringe at movie violence.
| 8/10 | afishcalledsid@ - 14 reviews 5.5.2011 - age: 36-49 |
I thought it was pretty good, if you like the previous 3 then you will probably enjoy this one as well.

This movie was really good, but not as good as the first three. It's definitely worth watching though.

They should have just called this one "Scary movie 4 "... because it was hilarious! Worst one of the 4... awful acting, bad dialogue, annoying characters... I wasn't expecting much to begin with, but I won't be seeing Scream 5 for sure! :)
| 3/10 | gatita100@ - 57 reviews 2.5.2011 - age: 26-35 |

Overall a great movie! Lots of killing and hot girls which is what I find great in these types of scary movies.

I love this movie just from the [trailer] I got a nightmare. It was the best, I love nightmares. But I didn't pee my pants, I repeat I did not pee my pants! Btw that's a good thing.

I am a huge Scream fan and have seen the first three movies many times, and I was excited for this movie since I heard it was getting made over a year ago. I was a little disappointed with this movie just because the tone and feel of it didn't really fit with the other three, and the second half seemed a little rushed and all over the place. I also didn't really like the ending even though I keep trying to convince myself it was good. The opening scene is great, the new characters are interesting even though they aren't really developed, I love that Dewey, Gale & Sidney are fit into the movie well, and there are a few good scares and laughs. Overall, it's my least favorite of the four, but it is still a good horror movie. Especially if you don't compare it to the others in the series. I recommend it if you are a Scream fan or if you just want to see a fun movie.

| 8/10 | sweetbee8@ - first review 30.4.2011 - age: 13-17 |
I found this movie almost entertaining until about the last 10 minutes when the director rushed to tie everything together and managed to drop the ball. I'm really hoping that this is the last one. But as Hollywood proves time after time... if the franchise is making money... they'll keep making more of the same.

Best movie ever. Sooo awesome. Except for the fact that the killings got a little too repetetive, and unnecesarily continuous, and the writing was crap, it was a pretty good horror movie.
| 10/10 | jarad_8.4@ - 35 reviews 28.4.2011 - age: 13-17 |
OK movie, the beginning was kinda cool. Can't beat the first one, but pretty good for a fourth installment!!

Ok, treated my entire soccer team to this movie ( their choice) I cannot believe how corny this movie is... I heard more people laugh than get scared. My guys were so bored, thank God for popcorn and food, kept them happy!
| 3/10 | domina_g_i@ - 91 reviews 28.4.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Very good movie considering it's the fourth in the franchise. Some great standout performances from some of the "newbies" in this one. Opening is clever although not as shocking/suspenseful as the previous 3 but a great third act which most probably rivals and comes a close second to the original. Director and writer did a great job of depicting the desensitized teens of the new decade. Film has a different format/feel than the first 3 films but was needed to keep it fresh. Scream 4 is much much better than it should've been being this is the fourth time around. Always great to see original cast. Definitely recommended.

Here we go again! This film is what one would expect given the plot is already put forward in the previous features. With Wes Craven at the helm of this project you're ensured his choice of cast blends perfectly. Though the cheese factor is above and beyond a plate of poutine, it still tastes great! Twists and turns in the climax, separates this one from the pack.
| 8/10 | movie.dude@ - 36 reviews 26.4.2011 - age: 18-25 |
I loved it. I'm a fan of the series and this is the best one since the original Scream in '96. It was fun and funny and over-the-top in all the right ways - definitely not taking itself too seriously, and yet still witty and scrazy and gory enough to be completely entertaining. And the twist got me - I was not expecting it. Just when I thought the movie couldn't top itself, it did, getting funnier and better. Go see it! Go now!
| 9/10 | scottslinktoyou@ - 3 reviews 25.4.2011 - age: 26-35 |
Acting is wooden. Jokes aren't funny but the "horror" is. Ending is just stupid. Desperate has-beens trying to hold onto fame and milk another dollar out of this long dead and now rotting franchise.

I think it was really good scary movie. Little bit too blood as usually but it was very enjoyable and fun. The ending was kind of silly but well... this is how the scary movies are.

This was the first Scream movie I have ever seen. It was very good and interesting... The killer was not who I expected it to be, which gave it an interesting twist. Scream 4 was a nail biting thriller. Not too scary, but kept me on my toes. The blood looked very fake, but I don't think they could have made it anymore realistic when the killer had made HUGE wounds in the victims, leaving gushing blood... Very very very ghory... but still an overall great movie.

It's a really scary movie. The acting was great and the creator and director of the plot never spared any blood and guts details. I JUST HAVE TO SEE IT AGAIN because at the very end, when you find out who is doing all the gory knife stabbing murders of 9 or 10 victims, and for what reason (motive), you ask yourself," Where was that person during the movie when and where the murders were taking place. Also, how was the murderer disguising his voice. Ah yes, the plot thickens. A must see if you loved Scream 3 and the other 3 movies.
