I tink Jim Carrey was good for the role. But he got used to the fact that the penguins were his way too fast. And the movie was way too fast also. If it wasn't for that, I would give it 8/10.

Was sceptical about this movie with Carrey's wild and crazy performances before but in this particular movie he toned down quite a bit, that was very refreshing to me that is. The movie was very cute, enjoyable and satisfying. A beautiful family story. I had a blast seeing this and it is definitely a worth seeing movie.

Very bland kids movie. Not recommended for adults with time on their hands. Jim Carrey, as usual, is portrayed as a silly character who overreacts. Plot is terrible.

Amazing!!! I could see it again and again the acting is amazing especially since Jim Carrey is in it. Only one thing though, the movie is great, it is nothing like the book and that is a real shame because I remember when I was in first grade I read it and I said to my self they should make a movie exactly like this. I did not get exactly what I wanted but it was close. Right on Mr. Popper's penguins you rock!!!

Jim Carrey was his best in this film also the penguins. I noticed that I always never laugh in movies and I didn't in this one. I'm not saying it's bad but it could have been much better.

I really wanted to like this movie. The trailer was awesome and those were the only good parts of the movie. Waste of time and money. No matter how cute the penguins were they could not save this movie from being awfull.

If you brought a ton of kids to this movie it would be fun, and though the scenes of New York in winter are beautiful I was really bored and itchy during this movie, tho I am 7months pregnant so bored and itchy are two common feelings. LOL. It wasn't that funny tho, and the penguins look very fake.

This movie was intended FOR KIDS and as such it was very good. There are some laughs for adults and Jim Carrey was very funny as always. The story is simple and predictable, however it was well acted and had good special effects.

Jim Carrey is so funny in this movie, although you can see a serious side of him also. Penguins everywhere in his New York apartment. Brings the best out of everyone even his two children that don't really like him. An enjoyable movie for the whole family, don't miss it.

This movie was amazing, LOVE the penguins they're HILARIOUS :) A must see, my 3 year old loved it, boy she was tired afterward probably from all the laughing, me and my hubby were so filled with laughter as much as my daughter, the problem is now she wants a penguin, alive one :) All in all a MUST see!

Loved it, loved it, usually when you see a few trailers on tv, they only show the good parts, and it turns out that movie was bad. This time the trailers were good and so was the movie, go take the family with you.

Good grandparents and grandkid (age 6) movie. The show was ok but watching how enthralled the kid was about the penguins was even better.

It's a good watch for all ages. Kids enjoyed it a lot too. Lot's of funny scenes for the kids. No foul language. I would recommend watching it.

There is one great reason why Mr. popper's penguins is a good movie. It is right for all ages so it is a good movie and parents could take their kids and they colud enjoy it to.
