This movie was so good. It is romantic and funny. It almost made me cry. You have to see it right away.

Entertaining... for being on TV. Probably wouldn't watch it again, but glad I watched it.

Absolutely terrible. None of it was funny or entertaining. It was just about some bimbo's relationship with a chef. But there is one good thing about this crappy movie: It fits in an oven.

I wouldn't mind this movie so much as a rental but I wouldn't rush out to see it on the BIG screen. It was hardly original and there was absolutely no chemistry between the lead characters.

Poor imitation of the German film," Mostly Martha"; stolen music from "Life as a House"; overall just mediocre.

I really enjoyed this one!! Abigail Breslin is a rising star... so adorable!

This is a movie that should work. Zeta-Jones is a beautiful, intelligent woman who has a reputation for being a palpable force on screen. In this movie however, she comes across flat. While she looks very good, her energy isn't there. It's distracting to observe her trying too hard to annunciate with an american accent... unfortunately controlled and wearing. Her co-stars all have their varied positive points, but they can't save this movie. I walked out after about an hour of tedium. The plot is basically plausible but moves slow and does not motivate one to cheer for any one character. Stiff and ununified.

Honestly, if a movie makes you roll your eyes repeatedly and make you want to laugh at loud at what are supposed to be "touching" moments, then what can you say? You pretty much want to strangle Catherine Zeta-Jones' character, but at least the child, Abigail Breslin from Little Miss Sunshine isn't your average child actor and she's honestly quite adorable. I like Aaron Eckhart and it pained me to see him in this. The movie is beyond predictable and if you saw the trailer, then you've pretty much seen what you need.

Terrible movie from all aspects. Even the scenario could have been written better.

This movie is more of a drama than a romantic comedy. Nevertheless, it's worth seeing. Armstrong's (Zeta-Jones) sister dies in a car crash and takes care of her daughter. With her duties as a chef and trying to please her niece wasn't easy. With a help of a co-worker they found ways to do just that. Thumbs up go see it.

This movie is cute for a younger audience. Some parts were definitely cheesy, but it was still an enjoyable movie. If you don't catch it in theaters, I would recommend renting it. Watch it if you're in the mood for a light-hearted chick flick.

The original," Bella Martha" (Mostly Martha in English) is wonderful. This is a sad attempt to redo something that did not need to be redone. Watch and fall in love with the German film - it has subtitles.

Nothing spectacular. Feels like pieces of other movies assembled together. Abigail Breslin is good. Feels a bit formulaic overall. Good date movie.

Hi this movie is a good summer, something to do movie. It can make you laugh and make you cry. It will certainly make you hungry so watch this movie and follow it up by a dinner at a good restaurant and you have yourself a great night out with good food.

UIt was alright. Funny, cute, more or less what you paid for. Not my first choice at the movies but sometimes you gotta let the girls choose :) The ending was nice and cute as you'd expect. Aaron Eckhart had a charming role role in the movie that puts him in a nice sort of role. The only leading actor that I could think that used to have these sorts of romantic comedies was michael mcconaughey who is busy getting engaged these days. Altogether nice charming and what you'd expect. Ohh and I actually got a little surprise treat as well. As a die hard fan of Lenny Kravitz, I got to see Zoe Kravitz's first on screen appearance (even though its only for a few minutes it was a nice surprise)

What a wonderful movie! Very touching, I had tears a couple of times. Catherine Zeta-Jones is excellent in her role and so is Abigail Breslin. If you love feel good movies this is one you have to see! I loved it.

Sorry but this was a blatent american rip off of german subtitled film "babette's feast" made in the 1980's, which was far funnier and more romantic. If you want to see the way the movie was supposed to be rent babettes feast, it rocks!

I feel like the directors took a few passages from a book and that they didn't bother to elaborate them. The characters' attitudes seemed to change without any warning or evolution of any kind. Also, some parts of the movie were so predictable that you could basically hear the audience roll their eyes and sigh in the theater. But all in all, it's a cute-ish romantic comedy with a good cast and it was well shot, despite the lack of a decent plot. My advice: Rent it once it's out and you've got some time to spend, but don't expect a masterpiece.

So nice to see a good movie without violence, nudity, or language. Extremely well acted, very real and well worth the price of admission.

I think the studio didn't quite know what to make of this movie so they decided to market it as a rom-com. The posters clearly imply rom-com, Aaron Eckhart and his impossibly big bangs, clashing with Zeta-Jones. In fact there are quite a few predictable aspects to this movie including the ending but what sets it apart and makes it worth watching is Abigail Breslin. Her story line is sad and she really captures the loss her character is feeling and her attempts at dealing with that loss. Despite the cliches and big bangs, despite no really being a comedy, this movies manages to find its way into your heart and stay there for days.

Poor dialogue and poor acting make this a so-so movie. Sad, then cute and predictable is how this movie goes.

Like this movie. I like the on-screen chemistry between Zeta-Jones and Echart. Good story line and nice ending. Good to see a movie with no violence and no obnoxious language as well.

I knew it was going to be a light and airy comedy, but for some reason I had greater expectations for the cast. I was disappointed. The plot was too predictable; the chemistry between the characters non-existent; and neither of the 3 main stars performed up to their potential. Too bad. Only see it if you are using the cinema as an air conditioned respite from the sweltering heat!

I thought this movie wasn't going to be good, but turned out pretty ok. I love the food presentations and the best part of the movie was the "rare stake" part... Lolololol "is that rare enough for ya"... ?

More of a drama than of a comedy but it's still worth seeing. The little girl is a very talented actress.

I went to see it despite what the critics said, based on the fact that I wanted a feel good movie. It was that. I loved the visuals --the presentation of the food-- the glimpses of New York neighborhoods. The music was a perfect complement to the food. Catherine Zeta Jones and Abigail Breslin --so wonderful to watch. I think I understand why they cast Aaron Eckhart --because he is so opposite to Zeta-Jones, but he didn't quite work for me. Okay, so, it's a bit predictable, but when life's so unpredictable--that's not so bad.

I just went and saw this movie today and I really enjoyed it. It was so refreshing to see a movie that did not have any vulgar language in it, no violence and no sex. It had a good story line and I shed a few tears through it. The acting was good and it was worth watching.
