A word of advice to the viewing public: DO NOT BOTHER TO RENT THIS FILM!!! Even the venerable talents of Michael Douglas doesn't save this poorly written, poorly directed, poorly edited, poorly acted piece of phlegm. Even Michael Douglas' hair (the best part of the film) looked bored... And a word of advice to Hollywood: Do NOT pick a mediocre 1950s film to remake, unless you first figure out why it was a mediocre film the first time around. This horrid film smacks of film-school professionalism and a $1.49 day budget... but it wasn't. It has a big-name director, a couple of talented actors, and it still sucks slough water. Yuck.
