Made me laugh and cry. It presents people with a Biblical worldview that may be new to some viewers. Very inspiring.

Very good movie. A nice change from the Hollywood dream.

Every man and young fathers should see this movie.
| 9/10 | sweetp_01@ - first review 13.7.2012 - age: 36-49 |
It had a nice story line. Great for fathers. The only thing is that it was way too religious.
| 6/10 | so-sweet13@ - 41 reviews 6.7.2012 - age: 13-17 |
A phenomenal movie and refreshing commentary on what is wrong with our society. Encouraging and uplifting. It is sad to me that some of the (rare) negative reviews criticized the things they did. Perhaps they are so steeped into contemporary, worldly, hollywood culture that they could not relate to the way that things should be.

The movie was fantastic and if like moknows.99@ you failed to enjoy because of the religion and sermon, you are scared of how much the power of the Lord can change your life. If more people committed themselves to the Lord like these guys did in the movie, the world would be a much better place. As it is said in the movie, the Lord answers prayers.
| 9/10 | michaelhull@ - first review 14.2.2012 - age: 36-49 |
So, the story in the beginning was good, and the tragic events that created the story was good. When the movie moved to mucho religion and ended with a sermon... I failed to enjoy.

A GREAT MOVIE. Good plot, lots of action. A good story line. It is wonderful what can be done on a small budget. A good old fashioned family movie. A very good heart warming story without any foul language or suggestive content. I did not give it a ten because there is some violence near the end of movie which might scare small kids. Since the main characters were police officers there had to be some violence. It is a good movie anyone can see from older kids to teens and older.

Any married couple needs to see this movie. Men need to establish that relationship with their sons and daughters. Life is too short to pass up the memories that can be created for future relationships between son or daughter. This movie reminds men of their sacred duty to love honor their sons and daughters.

A rare gem; a story-line that promotes healthy, positive family values with a unique challenge for all men.

It's nice to see a movie that espouses good values and calls men to step up as fathers and husbands. I thought it was very well done.

This movie can speak to all men, regardless of their beliefs. Definitely well worth watching.
| 9/10 | scotturwin@ - first review 15.1.2012 - age: 36-49 |
INCREDIBLE movie! Filled with hope, inspiration and morality. A refreshing change from what is currently out there! The movie really challenges the viewer to re-evaluate their personal beliefs and to decide what kind of legacy they want to leave behind. Think this movie would be most appropriate for teens and up due to the violence/dramatic themes it contains.

Well done, made me laugh, made me cry. Full of amazing and wonderful ideas.

This was a great movie! Cried as you can see how important Fathers are and how many miss the boat! Inspiring!

It was the best movie we have ever watched. Great acting, drama, very funny parts and encouraging. My husband never wants to see a movie twice, but he has seen it three times! We will buy the DVD when it comes out. Our nine year old daughter plays the theme song of this show over and over again. I couldn't give it a higher rating, it is just incredible.

This movie is tremendous, wow!! It deserves the BEST award; Reminds me of my father, I really would like for him to realize that he's loosing me n' my brother, cause I believe in second chances but we've given him many that he has not appreciated n' it will be late :' ( if he just realizes what he's been missing. MUST SEE!!
| 10/10 | deedee_cruz@ - first review 1.1.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Probably the best movie I have ever seen, I'm definitely buying this movie when it comes out on DVD! Integrity, honour, accountability, responsibility and courageousness. These are the values I am seeking in my next life partner! Oh, and throw in humour too! ****LOVE IT**** Girls, take notes out of this one for your "husband". If you are lucky enough to find someone that resembles the men in this movie, appreciation is more than deserved. It is certainly rare in this era.

It reminds us that as parents we can still influence our kids by demonstrating a Christlike behaviour. Only problem is that the wife has to be supportive of the dad in order to encourage him to that. The show does depict that, but my wife is a good example of not supporting me when my son went the wrong direction.

Great concept, but too preachy for me and the acting was poor. Should be a made for tv movie.

The Movie was awesome!!! Fathers need to step up today, not sit back and watch their family crumble before their eyes. Already pre-ordered it. :)

This movie was amazing! And a must see for all ages! Had me laughing throughout the whole movie, while still having parts that were emotional. Was very clean and based around Godly standards.

It was a very thought provoking movie with unexpected action scenes. A teen once told me that they were so tired of being told what they shouldn't do but nobody was telling them how to live a better way. This movie gives you another way to go. We need God and the support of those around us that are willing to take the time to make a difference. Thank you for making a movie that doesn't just entertain us but encourages us to be better.

What a wonderful movie!!! So uplifting and just what society needs and more of them. Families are falling apart and this movie is so timely. This is a must see (and must have when on DVD) We have recommended to everyone we can. Don't miss it! Sherwood Pictures and the Kendrick Brothers are only getting better and should be appaulded. We need more uplifting, family friendly, and viewer friendly pictures and less trash!

It's about a world-wide crisis in families, the need for fathers to be engaged with their children and spouses. It's also about how God heals hearts and give the courage to live passionately in family life.

I loved it... all the way through. It was inspirational and heartwarming. My husband and 2 14 year old daughters totally enjoyed it. Go see it at least once!

I'm not into fluff, so I really liked that this movie had some meat to it. It left me with lots to think about. There should be more movies like this out there!

Excellent plot line that was unpredictable. The appropriate weight was given to different segments such as the climax and conclusion. This was more than a feel good movie; it was inspiring!

It's time that we get some real family life movies to view in our Calgary theatres.
| 9/10 | h.kuenstler@ - first review 7.11.2011 - age: 50+ |
This movie challenges us all, but especially challenges men to be the fathers that God would have them to be. It is moving, funny, but also very serious in terms of relationships and integrity and honesty, and faith. We are so glad that we attended this movie.

A movie with real life events, a moral grounded storyline, and value. No murder, no sexual immorality, no violence... not a 'hollywood' movie. It would be good for people, good for society, if more people opted to see this movie and learn something of true value for life. Applause to the producers, writers, directors, and cast for their work. Thank you.

This was a great movie to see. It challenges men to be great fathers and to take their role seriously… much needed in our world today. Although it had strong a challenging message about taking fatherhood (and life in general) seriously, it also had some funny parts and was fun to watch. I hope to see more films like this with good positive massages that are great to watch with the whole family.

Horrible acting, cheesy lines, predictable plots... Worst movie I've seen in a decade. Had to walk out of theatre. If you're into "good" Christian stories head to church instead on sunday and save yourself ten dollars!
