This drama was to me considered out of this world and Kate Hudson had put her attention to us as a good person to take that part. The humour had made many of us laugh and made this picture to be enjoyable to watch. The music was great as well especially if you were in those days in the eighties.

I thought it was a very good movie to watch. Amusing and funny, Love the cast and Paul Rudd is hilarious.

It's the kind of movie we all feel we have lived a piece of. The days go by with the martinis, the party shoes and the romances!

One of my all time faves. This movie has an all-star cast and is cleverly written.

Not a very good film with a bunch of decent actors in it. Some of the 80s stuff was mildly amusing, but overall just not too enjoyable.

I really enjoy Kate Hudson on screen so my vote may be bias. However, there are a wealth of great actors in this movie who are playing roles that show their true colours and talent. Their roles are bare and and rough around the edges. They really had to make the most of their script. I enjoyed watching them in the rough.

If you are a child of the 80's then I think you will enjoy and understand this movie. It is funny and captures what the 80's was about!

I loved this movie mainly because of the music and I really enjoyed the story line. The day after I watched I ran out and bought it along with the soundtrack.

It was really good, it takes a good director to get to put all those parallel stories together, and elvis costello, but not only Elvis Costello was great, but all the actors of a great level and the hotties, Cristina and Kate.

it was really good a funny movie unintentionally funny movie, not that dumb humor that works for the average audience, but a sharp good humor, the irony the drama along with Elvis Costello made it a great movie different from the averge choices ive made this was a good movie.

This was definitely an entertaining movie on many different levels. While I have difficulty digesting Christina Ricci on the best of days, I found her character colourful and amusing. Good showing for Courtney Love and Kate Hudson was her charming self. Loved the twisting and turning of the multiple plots. Very suitable for this time of year.

I really disliked this movie, not only was it super UNfunny, but it also was unrealistic and unconvincing. They made the girls seem like complete sluts but then suddenly at the end they think the guys aren't "that bad". I really thought that Kate Hudson's character seemed like a immature goody-goody in the beginning, but then SUDDENLY at the end she was all mature? The movie was to me, a total waste of time. I didn't enjoy it and I certainly didn't believe a bit of it and worst yet... I DIDNT EVEN LAUGH ONCE! Honestly I think you can spend you time watching a better, funnier movie!

This movie was one of the most boring movies I have seen in a long time. There is no main story line. There many little scenarios goin on. This movie is a total waste of time to watch.

Hmmm... 200 Cigarettes, I saw it, I loved it, it has become on of my favorite movies. Obviously, Dave Chappelle is the best part of this film, but I mean no disrespect to the rest of the outstanding actors apart of this cast (especially, Plimpton and her Scottish ex... two other gems) But I do have one BIG quam about the released soundtrack, it doesn't have the ENTIRE score. There is one particular song that I was hoping wound be on it, but is not and now I am having the hardest time trying to find out what the hell it is. The scene where it is used is towards the beginning 3rd (of the movie) and Dave Chappelle plays it for Paul Rudd while COurtney Love is buying him his birthday present (carton of smokes = 200 butts) Chappelle plays it to illustrate a point about how to please "the ladies". The song is a funky disco track (similar to Kool and the Gang in style) that includes the word "lady" in the chorus... can anybody help me with this song? PLEASE!!!

Dave Chapelle is the more interesting one of the eighties characters, as he plays the lecherous, all-around happy cab driver! Worthy of his performance alone. F.

I saw 200 cigarrettes in german on paytv and I loved it. It's a funny movie with talented actors filmed in a great city. If there's anybody from NYC reading my note and not older than 20 years please write me!

Aaaah, those crazy days and nights... the parties, the cool music, the weird clothes (I was punk, I looked cool... uh-huh) , the even weirder hair, the guys we knew, the guys we wanted to know in the worse way possible... sigh... but I digress. I was amazed how little recognition this movie got since it was so on the mark, perhaps that's why. It's nice to step back in time... tainted love, painted faces, drunken brawls, hangovers, power drinking, mind-numbingly loud music - the 80's were somthing, weren't they? I think... New Year's Resolution, try to remember the past.
