This is a slow but absorbing movie! It is really well done! After having seen the movie, I want to know more about this woman, her contributions and the controversies surrounding her. The success of the film is its strength to resist sensationalizing "hot issues", but stick to a very oil-painting like smooth camera work! There is one thing which was "dramatized": the relationship between Hildegard von Bingen and Richardis von Stade! The motive is really for serious movie goers...
