Hay River

After seeing the trailer I wasn't sure I really wanted to see it. The trailer made it look like another mindless action movie which it is not. The intrigue is good and the movie has more depth than the trailer would lead you to believe. The acting was first class although Robert Downey Jr. has a tendency to overdo it sometimes his energy level is contagious. Jude Law is more subtle and plays with a lot of finesse. They complement each other well and I Hope to see them again as a duo. The Sherlock Holmes portrayed here is too James Bondesque to be totally believable. He's more superhero than human being. Nevertheless there is no boring moment in this movie and I found it entertaining as a whole. The decors, camera work and special effects were first rate.
