This film contains several tangentially connected stories. Some work and others don't, Hugh Grant's role as the British Prime Minister is terribly written and completely unbelievable. Liam Neeson and the boy who plays his step-son had great chemistry and their piece in the story was great. Emma Thompson is great as she always is in dramas, as is Colin Firth. I didn't love Alan Rickman, though the story involving him, his secretary and wife is good. On the whole the movie has more hits than misses, but being broken into so many pieces ultimately fails to capture the viewers attention completely.

Love Actually raises the bar for romantic comedies and ensemble film making. All of the characters are memorable - even if we don't remember their names 'cause there are a lot fo them, but as soon as we talk about their scenarios they easily come to mind. Love, love loved "Love Actually". Great to own and rewatch.

Love Actually is the definition of amazing film making. Rarely does a romantic comedy come across as so strong and well thought out that it is loved by all. The amazing cast of this movie conveys the meaning of love and Christmas throughout all age groups: a young boy experiencing first love, the excitement of a first kiss, a young couple bond and a husband realizing the real meaning of love. Each interwoven story expresses an uplifting story of love and the meaning of Christmas. This film will remain a holiday classic.

It is a must-see movie to my mind also to my husband who used not to be into romantic movies, but he does love this one just because it shows all loves in one movie which between lovers, friends, parents and kids. You will feel actually love is all around as long as you want to step into a bit.

I was pleasantly surprised. I went to the movies and the film I wanted to see wasn't playing, so I ended up seeing this one instead. Maybe a feel good, but an excellent one. I fully recommend it!

Fantastic, feel-good holiday movie... although I watch it year round! Each story is unique and interesting and the way they intertwine at the end is great. Great role for Hugh Grant.

Amazing movie! This movie is the perfect mix of romance and comedy mixed together. The 10 different story lines keep the movie interesting... and somehow, one story line is related to another so the movie is tied together really well too! Go see this movie! I absolutely loved it! Try it if you want something different... or if you're like me and realize that this movie is about the two best things in the world... LOVE and ChristMAS!

I'm really impressed by this movie because I don't usually like romantic comedies, but that one is really excellent! Everything about it is great, it's not cheesy or boring, the actors are awesome (even those who I don't usually like) and it was funny. It's really a fun movie to watch with anybody that u love (family, friends, lovers... )

The movie was very funny and also very touching and moving, it is a "feel good" type of movie. I just loved this movie! It is one of my favourite romantic comedies.

This movie is fantastic! It tells the sad and funny tales about love and how it effects life. When I watched "Love Actually" I couldn't help to shed a few tears (well, I am a romantic), but I also laughed a lot during this romantic comedy. Colin Firth was adorable (as always) and I loved when Hugh Grant did that dance to "Jump". It was also great to see some eye candy on screen (Rodrigo Santoro and Andrew Lincoln) I don't recommend 12-under to watch this movie because it contains a lot of nudity and crude jokes.

For months I was confused about if what I felt for my boyfriend was love or infactuation. Watching this film made me realize how much I am in love with him and how much I'm in love with being in love. This film brought tears of happiness to my eyes and my heart beated so hard. Like the theme song says; Love is neverending and no matter how hard you try to escape it will always stick with you. It's hope, it's pain, it's happiness. It's life! Live it!

I have a weakness for well-written and cast romantic comedies (When Harry Met Sally, Four Weddings and a Funeral, etc. ) This movie hit me right where it hurts... well worth the price!

This movie is rubish. I hated, hated, hated this piece of trash. The stories were predictable, stupid and annoyingly cutesy. Solution: cut out the stupid dialogue and market it as a music video. At least the music was good.

I absloutely adored the film it was brilliant, I went to see it to see another Keira Knightley movie as I am obseessed, anyway I saw it and it was brilliant me and my 5 friends where all sitting at the back singing and dancing in our chairs to the songs, laughing at the gags, crying in the sad bits, and I was sitting there grinning like a chesher cat whenever Keira came on it's brilliant buy it on DVD when it comes out. Xx.

Love actually is full of love without the sappiness of most "chick-flicks". Very well acted by most if not all the actors involved. There's so many situations being presented, you're bound to fall, or relate to at least one of them.

Waited a long time for a romantic comedy worthy of paying movie theatre prices. Brits are so refreshing - tongue-in-cheek funny and intelligent. Made me laugh, cry and feel warm-and-fuzzy. All but the coldest heart can relate to most, if not all, characters. Loved seeing Colin Firth in the water and Hugh Grant "jump! " Soundtrack is 9 out of 10 also.

Ouch, sorry, my heartstrings were being pulled. Ok, so this movie is very contrived, that doesn't make it less entertaining. All movies are contrived, it's pretend - actors, writers, producers, directors all conspiring to, well, in this case, make you laugh, smile, feel and enjoy. It works. Of course it doesn't hurt that Colin Firth is in it and all those other actors. A monster cast and a surprisingly good performance by Hugh Grant who usually bores me. I loved it, actually.

Generally I was disappointed with this film. There were simply too many coincidences and it all just wrapped up too neatly and happily. There are a few commendable performances by Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson, otherwise it was a wash.

Wonderful! It has some scenes that simulate very graphic sex which, from the caution, I was a little taken aback, but over-all, a very funny and well written script. With the cast involved it goes without saying that the acting is top notch.

I felt the movie dragged on. It did have a few good comedic scenes and Hugh Grant's acting but I'd probably recommend people to rent it instead of spending 10$ to watch it!

Filled with performances that deserve Oscar consideration. Liam Neeson is brilliant. The script is intelligent with the various sub storylines. The soundtrack is strong, one cannot help but sing "CHRISTMAS IS ALL AROUND US" after the film is over. One of the best adult films of 2003.

Made me laugh AND cry simultaneously. Witty diaglogue. Great editing. Fabulous cast. Please please please see it.

This movie is good, but... not great. There are special moments worthy of tears, but it left me feeling with a sense of yearning notwithstanding. I'd wait for the video of this one if I were you, but do rent the video, it is worth seeing.

I found this movie to be very well written, with very good storylines... However, not until the final moments of the film does the connection between ALL of the storylines become clear. Otherwise, it is truly entertaining, with many laughs thrown in. Acting was amazing, and you felt as though all of the characthers were real people, with real lives, and real feelings. Truly great, and original.
