I was a 10-year old kid when Margaret Thatcher governed the UK with an iron fist. To my remembrance, the real Maggie was far more charismatic, people-centered and politically strong than the one acted by Meryl Streep in THE IRON LADY Movie. Yes, Streep did a good performance in her acting but there was definitely something missing because she could not capture and portray how politically tough and yet realistically human Maggie was. Unfortunately, both Streep and the movie itself fails to render due service to first woman ever elected as Prime Minister in the Western Hemisphere.
