Can Jodie Foster get any better? She excels, then excels again and again! I honestly don't know how anyone would give this film a rating below 8 or 9. It was just fantastic and my husband, who commented that he hadn't been to a show that good for a long time, was completely captivated. What a great story! I go to the movie theatre to be entertained, not to come out thinking that whatever bad happens on screen is going to happen to me at some point in the future. If anything, it makes me more aware of what COULD happen so that I might be more prepared to defend myself. Jodie's character did what she thought she had to do to get justice and we all know that that's not the way she should have done things, but it made for a great story and I loved it!! Terrence Howard deserves cudos for his performance as well.
