This was a great movie. Selena Gomez in this movie was great playing Mavis!

This movie is fascinating! I love it! That's because it shows that it doesn't matter who you are and who you need to fall in love with. Your heart is always going to guide you to the person you love best! I say that everyone should watch this movie and learn that you can love anyone in your life... Or you can ZING anyone you want!

This movie was so good, I can watch it over and over.

This is a great movie! I loved every minute of it and left the theater smiling.

Watched it for free and was still watching the clock waiting for it to end. Not horrible but just flat and nothing really special. Didn't find any of the scenes that funny and it just came off as forced attempts at humour most of the time. Might amuse the kids but adults can do better with their time.

I watched it with my 10 yr old son and he realized that," It shows that monsters have the same thoughts and ideas-like people-about who/what, and that there are scary things to be kept away from"!

It was excellent. I loved Adam Sandler's voice as Dracula, it was so... unique.

Much better than I anticipated. Great animation, good humour. A nice light-hearted family film.

It's good but not a two year old movie to go see with.

Very funny, laughs galore, good story line even for us oldies who are still young at heart :)

Some funny scenes. Some good one liners. Good movie to see on DVD.

I wasn't amazed with this movie and thought I was too old for it, it was nicely produced and had children humor, I think if you are 10 and under it's a great, funny, well animated motion picture! Overall a good movie, I just thought I was too old.

A fun movie, enjoyable and kinda takes you on a journey you once had forgotten. Like having fun and letting loose once in a while.

Loved it. It was fun for all ages, the ending was not exactly what I had in mind, but made me tear with joy.

This is a fun movie with great animation and a well-written storyline. Nice art in the closing credits. I'd recommend it even as a holiday movie.

Wonderful movie! I wasn't crazy about the idea watching it but my husband (!) tricked me into it, so we ended up going. I loved every minute of it! :) We both did. Feel good movie, interesting story telling, humor, some unexpected turns, not boring at all. We really enjoyed it. Now we want to buy it for our friend's daughters when it comes out on DVD. Go see it! :)

Very enjoyable! It was good enough for adults too. I thought the Twilight reference was funny.
| 8/10 | mapine@ - 30 reviews 26.11.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Great family movie. It brings forth a lot of comedy and fun action. Too bad the movie felt so short, they could have a stronger character/relationship development.

As an adult I don't particularly enjoy animated features but this one was an exception, it was brilliant. It kept my attention from start to finish and I laughed my head off. There were touching moments where I forgot they were animated characters. All in all a must see movie.
| 9/10 | natasha.clark@ - first review 19.11.2012 - age: 36-49 |
It held our attention as well as the attention of our two young grand-daughters. We loved the plot, the music and the way the movie took the wariness away from seeing monsters.

This movie was a great movie, it was funny, some little sad parts but they only lasted for about 2 minutes.

This movie is a hilarious take on the interaction between humans and monsters and how those who seem cold often have hearts of gold.

Not bad, but didn't see the point if having teenage romance in a young children's movie. Brought my 5 year old son and he got into ot for a while, but when the romance part started, he started getting bored. We left at the last half hour of the movie. Could have been much better. The "dude" stuff is also out of style.
| 6/10 | alexspers@ - 9 reviews 5.11.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Movie date with my kids. There were many funny moments and the kids said they enjoyed the movie! My daughter liked the characters and my son didn't cringe during some of the "teenage romance" scenes. Overall we enjoyed the movie!
| 7/10 | vansahmom@ - 2 reviews 3.11.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Not a masterpiece as far as story or animation, but cute and easy to digest, and entertaining enough for both children and adults that it is worth watching - though it was definitely not worth the price for the 3D. My son (10) liked it, but did not rave about it. The rating is based on our combined opinions on this.

Hotel Transylvania, another cartoon movie I had to be dragged to. I expected to be totally bored to tears but the move was fast paced and entertaining to watch; I am not a fan of cartoon style movies but this film was worth going to see and I suspect six months from now I will probably buy the DVD. Go see it, you won’t be disappointed.

Compared to other animated movies, like "Dragon" or the one with the parrots, this SUCKS, not just because of Adam Sandler's phoned in vampire voice.
| 2/10 | notimpressed@ - first review 2.11.2012 |
Cute for kids, but still really fun for adults. The movie itself is quite funny, but there are a few little parts that absolutely hilarious. You can definitely see Adam Sandler's style, but even if you're not a fan of his stuff, you'll still love this movie!

I don't understand why movies these days that are directed at a young audience always include themes about dating, love, finding your FREEDOM to be who you are, going against your parents etc. Seriously, why not let kids be kids and not fill their minds with this crap! We need more movies like UP, Finding Nemo, Toy Story. Enough with this love dating and "mushy stuff" that kids are too young to really understand or need to understand. That being said, because the movie was really about some teen trying to be free and falling in love with a human boy, I really didn't care for it. The animation was OK, the story sucked and was typical. A bore really, a reaaal BORE. And, a waist of money!!! I took the whole family to see and spent over 50 bucks!
