AVATAR has grounbreaking 3D technology and has elevated visual participation to a new level of involvement for patrons. The problem with AVATAR is it's simplistic storytelling and the bland cliched Na'vi alien race. For groundbreaking and complex storytelling one has to wait for Nolan's INCEPTION later in the year. The story to AVATAR is awfully familiar. Still the 3D technology is so groundbreaking that audience will demand every Hollywood action blockbuster be shot with these new 3D cameras. Pity about the script to AVATAR.
