This was an enjoyable movie that knew what it was, pure silly entertainment. I actually liked it better than Skyfall!

It was super cool. I loved the film and you must see it now, you will love it. I recommend it to everybody who likes action films.

Gemma Arterton looked amazing in a leather corset armed with x-bow. It was a fun movie.

Eye candy and nothing more. The acting/actors are plain ok. The holes are filled with cheesy jokes. Very predictable twist. The visual effects are great, that being said it was the only redeemable quality this movie has. This movie brings absolutely nothing new to its genre. I'm not saying I had a bad time, I'm just saying this is the kind of movie you enjoyed when your brain is set to 'off". I wouldn't want to see it twice in my life. Action, dumb jokes, nudity and special effects... you have been served!

A fun but forgettable movie. Similar to Van Helsing in that the 2 leads are good, likable but plot is silly with too much CGI. Decent time waster though.

They could have done more with the story line and thrown in a romance for good measure. I was disappointed they didn't serve wine with the cheese of this story!

Thoroughly enjoyable. Finally a movie of this genre that was written for an older crowd with a decent level of action and gore and fitting dialogue. The film maintains a fun aspect without losing its gritty edge. There's never a dull moment and while some may criticize the simplicity of the plot and theme, nothing more complex is required.

Awesome movie... had action, romance, thrilling parts etc. not a horror flick, so if you're expecting that you'll be disappointed but if you're okay with the occasional jump then you'll love it. Jeremy Renner is gorgeous and worth the watch... Some twists too. Overall a great movie, can't wait to re-see it on DVD.

Another fractured fairy tale, told in a gore ridden fantasy. I'm curious, with the level of blood, violence nudity and sex, how can a 14 year old be allowed to see this film?

There is something in it for everyone and a great storyline. The twists are there but not the ones you expect to see. Hugely enjoyed myself.

The scenario was kind of naive, photography and special effects were good. Acting was in line with the rest of the movie. Neither superb nor bad. If you have nothing else to do or see, a couple of hours watching this movie would fill the gap.

OK, at first blush this seemed like a decent movie. Good action, scary witches, good effects, attractive protagonists, great costuming. But then you leave the theatre and start thinking about the plot holes; why was the teenager even involved except to fill the holes identified in the first screenings; why do Hansel and Gretel look to be at least 15 years apart in age; how can a cross-bow reload itself? Etc, etc, etc. Then you remember this is for the 14-21 age bracket who don't like to look too closely at a movie. My "bad" for expecting a tighter run ship for my money. Go, enjoy, and don’t reflect much about what you just sat through and you will be happy. Next up "A Good Day to Die Hard."

I liked the special effects, that's all, also fantasing about the female actors during this movie, although that's what I do at all the movies. Same old story line to all these dumb, stupid, movies.

Only three other people showed up to watch this movie. The only reason I went was because firstly, I like action/fantasy and secondly, I like Famke Janssen, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Mya Diamond, except when she starts morphing into this green cackling gremlin thing.

We really enjoyed this movie and it was more than expected to our surprise. I would recommend it for sure. Special effects were fantastic and the story very interesting with many twists.

Keep in mind if you should choose to see this movie, that it is a movie about Hansel and Gretel. So if you don't look for any Oscar worthy performances or listen for any deep, thought provoking dialogue... You might just have a good time watching this movie.

A somewhat morbid twist on a classic tale has the famous siblings all grown up and making a living as witch hunters. Well that just about sums up the plot of this gory, rather uninspired film, one that never really gets going despite some clever moments. A passable use of 3D and some well handled action sequences help a bit, as does Famke Janssen as a fairly nasty witch, but it is all pretty sub par stuff in the end.

This was an awesome make of a child hood story that wasn't the most interesting book from what I remember, but 2 thumbs for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed a movie that was just made to entertain. It was not meant to be an Oscar contender so just go and enjoy the great special effects, superior makeup, a surprisingly good story line, great fight scenes and overall good acting.

I found the movie to be really good and I liked it. It was forth the extra money as it was a 3D movie and I love Jeremy Renner.

I just loved the movie. It was amazing. It was so amazing I saw it like 10 times.

If I liked Steampunk I would have given this movie a 9 but I cannot manage to suspend my disbelief quite that much. Excellent use of 3D to get me involved in the action. Plot was just okay but action sequences were well shot and tightly edited. CGI was excellent. Acting was believable even for Jeremy. Make up and costumes were excellent.

For sure one of the best horror and action movie I've seen for a while! A must see.

Not a big fan of Jeremy Renner, but he does an adequate job. Everyone else is awesome however. It's everything you would expect judging by the trailer. The scary parts are so overworked that they are more sarcastic than actually scary. Predictable would be an understatement. Fun way to spend a few hours though. Worth seeing in 3D.

I loved it, all I want is to see it again. It is better than Twilight.

Not interesting plot, very predictable. Very, VERY gory and overdone by a lot! Too much, I had to close my eyes and I was nauseated a few times. The ending is bad too. Just BAD.

This was an awesome movie! Deff a must see!!
