I was so impressed with how well the movie reflected the book (by Nicholas Sparks) I'd see this movie again and again. Well directed and well acted.

Best movie in the history of the world I am so disappointed that some theatres don't play it anymore, a definite must see especially with your boyfriend or husband.

I went to this movie blind with my girl friend and I was very impressed. It was a solid mix of suspense, feel-good, tear jerking romance with a solid plot!

I enjoyed the movie. Not as predictable as I thought. Chick flick for sure!!! But if you love those I would see it... It's what the movie leaves you with... faith.

I went to see this movie with my girlfriend. She cried I didn't, but it brought us closer. It was a great way to take time together without the kids. Good entertainment.

Not only is it extremely bland and plodding in plot, the so-called "curve-ball" thrown in it at the end is so pointless and bewildering it just makes the whole thing fall apart, rather than make it intriguing or give it any hidden depth. The only one who can act is the guy playing the villain and he hardly gets much of a finale. Skip it.

I read the book a couple of years ago. I was not disappointed. I thought it was excellent! Having a friend pass away days before seeing it made it very emotional for me. I LOVED IT!!!

We laughed, cried and absolutely loved this picture. Josh DuMAZING and Julianne Hough were so good. Didn't see the ending coming at all?

I was extremely disappointed with this movie, probably because I read the book first. I was expecting so much more, especially after hearing such good things about it. The acting was weak, and the movie didn't really explain much of Katie's life before she fled to Southport. I could not put the book down... but I don't think I will ever watch the movie again. Waste of money and time in my opinion. I guess if you haven't read the book, then it would be an alright, but very, predictable movie. I would not recommend. Please read the book to see what I mean.

The story moves forward in a way that book readers would call a real "page-turner"! Pretty authentic cinematography and effective use of East Coast scenery. Characters somewhat stereotyped and shallow, although many viewers will empathize strongly with their roles. Graphic violence in the flashback scenes and a superfluous fantasy element in the plot might be unwelcome to viewers who favour a more classical genre.

Just loved the movie, kept you in suspense until the end about her, did she kill her husband or not.

Great movie, way better than The Lucky One or The Vow. Good story, good ending, and a good twist. Julianne Hough is going to be a star soon. And it was very entertaining. Good job.

Really enjoyed the movie even though it was emotional and I could personally relate due to some violent recent experiences in my life.

Sooo bad. Liked it better when it was called "Enough" and "Sleeping with the Enemy". Lead actress was miscast... Should've been waitress #2 instead. If you liked the Notebook, great because there are the same parts in this movie too! Skip it!!!

A movie that dares one to hope again, that celebrates family, that promotes healing and restoration. I strongly recommend males to get past the "it's a chic flick mentality" and go see this movie and learn what it means to be a man as a servant leader, one who cultivates and protects the lives of his loved ones.

Nice movie even though it's a bit Deja_vu. However, it's a good movie. Good actors, good story, good soundtrack, nice setting. I guess that right now with the bad economy, there are probably a lot of people that moved and had to start anew, and those people want to turn a page in their life and they can probably relate to the movie with this type of plan; a house in the woods, a bike, home-made cherry pie, a few buds and that's it, that's all. The blond female actress is really cute, a female Brad Pitt of sorts. I like her spirit. This movie celebrates the human spirit. Bravo.
