Bad flick. I actually fast forwarded parts for this movie to get past the foolishness. Adding Jennifer added nothing to the overall awesomeness as well. Standard scenes, bad plot, a non-believable "code of ethics", and a bad plot make this probably the worst Jason movie I have seen to date.

A disappointing Jason Statham movie for sure. But I guess we are so used to that guy and his movies that we actually expect too much already. My bad.

Tension, dark hero, honour code, action and romance: would you want something else?

Very enjoyed it: a dark all-mighty hero, a lot of tension, and a nice shooting.

It was pitiful. I have never sat through an action movie and checked my watch so many times. Continuity was off, location shooting was mismatched, and the acting was crappy. I'm kind of embarrassed for Statham and Lopez, they can both do better.

Great fast action paced movie. I really like Statham's role. Always calm with a touch of humour. I like when the other guys freak out when they discover Parker was still alive as you see in the trailer. Jennifer Lopez was a great asset to this movie too.

High-Action & good story plus great acting by Mr. Jason Statham. Very, highly entertaining, interesting story that keeps moving & nice, moody music to go along with the mystery of the movie. Jason Statham is a very under-rated actor who deserves much more "Respect" than he's getting & should receive an "Oscar" or other Big Award for his great acting, as he captures the "persona" & character of those he plays in these movies. Sincerely, David ROCK Nelson "Monster" Movie-maker, actor, former Marine Corporal (1976-'80) & former Chicago "Golden Gloves" Boxer during 3 decades ('76 & '88 thru '91).

Very poorly written script. A lot of loose ends... and not the kind that merit a sequel! He was easily traced; how could the girlfriend not be? Where'd her dad get that cash--and why didn't the mob guys follow him with their offer?! And the casting is bizarre! The Stratham stuff with Jo is like a totally different movie than his stuff with the rest of the cast! And not just because they are separate for most of the movie! There are a couple of huge continuity mistakes too... Watch who gets into the SUV after the first heist... outside to inside!! Also, he had the estate layout plans to the second heist in his hands... so why does he need help to find out where they are going to steal the jewels? Not one you gotta see on the big screen...

There needs to be another rating that says," 4f -Sheer fantasy: pay for a ticket only if you don't have a life, or a brain". I was bored last night so I decided to take a gamble and go out to a movie, some luck! I've never seen a cops and robbers movie where a leading character gets so absolutely and totally beaten up every ten minutes or so - I mean absolutely bloodied and wounded beyond any normal man's ability to withstand such carnage - and who can still manage to get to his feet, go after his assailants full speed ahead and kill them all. I mean, c'mon... ! There are knives skewering the hand, knives through the back of necks, knives through the heart, knives through the chest, broken necks, shattered knees and legs, mass slaughter from guns and all around killings galore. Our baddie hero is a walking wreck who still gets the girls at the end, who apparently have no lives of their own, who are drawn to and taken in by this uppa-clahss speaking English neanderthal who knows no pain but who can nevertheless speak in a purfeck "Americun" accent because, as one gal says "... we-ell-ll...," with her eyelashes fluttering," ... that's just the wa-a-yy-y he IS!" How stupid are American women supposed to be these days? J Lo, sshmaylo! Those fat cat billionaires in Palm Beach, Florida where the story largely takes place, are not only filthy rich but the writer would have you believe that they are also totally deaf, dumb and blazing guns-challenged. Not one of 'em heard all those guns blazing away in their backyards and neighborhoods. They couldn't even be bothered to look out the window to see what all the fuss was about. You'd have thought that at least one of those wingnuts could have dialed 911 at the very least to let the cops know that all was not well in la-la-land but hell, no such luck. By comparison in my neighborhood, the simple act of an alley cat turning over a tin garbage bin can be met with a fleet of city squad cars, with lights a-flashing and the old red and whites a-twirling, careening full tilt into the alleyway with cop guns drawn ready to send anything that moves into the next life. But then again, filthy rich fat cats like Romney who occupy their own parallel universes aren't even sure they live in a place called America and besides the movie more or less insinuates that the super-rich deserve to be robbed by such ruthless Robin Hood-like characters such as our hero, but anyway, he wasn't really the one doing the robbing the screen-writer says, it was our heros cohorts-turned-enemies who did the real robbing and who deserved to be deep-sixed n'so our hero killed them all and easily cleaned up the spilled loot, walking off with 50 million bucks in diamonds and other precious gems which he self-righteously and unselfishly shared with his two vacuous girlfriends and, oh yes, also with his old bank-robber partner. *yawn* *yawn*... someone give me a Tylenol, please. I mean... after this excuse for entertainment my brain hurts, my eyes are raw and my ears have become tone-deaf. The best and most humorous part of the story was when in a one-on-one fist/karate/knife fight to the death with an unknown assailent our hero grabs the lid of a bathroom toilet and cracks him over the head with it, momentarily putting the guys lights out whereupon the lid shatters after the hero drops it to the floor! I mean... duh-h-hh?

The story line was decent, acting ok. Couple of things kinda bugged me about this movie. First, how the heck did they get from Ohio to Florida and second, when Lopezs' character gets punched in the face, there's not a mark on her. I hate when they do that in movies. Come on, you're going to start bleeding pretty much immediately. Oh yeah, one other thing, house they used is in Sarasota not Palm Beach (it's the Ringling house) And that kinda bugged me too.

Wow! I can't believe the high ratings that this movie is getting! This has to be worse than Gigli. After watching Jennifer Lopez in this movie, I can't believe she's the same person who did The Cell. This movie was extremely slow. It sucked! This movie had less action and plot than Statham regular movies.

Like usual this actor is doing a Oscar winning scene, he knows how to play the part and makes you believe in the story as a really one, it's a must see.

Actually a 7 but I really enjoyed the movie. Steady storyline that kept you interested. The love story part of the movie is a bit weird. Bad guys are weak. J. S. is good. J Lo is pretty, but a bit strange role for her too. Like I say I enjoyed it, was not much better than a TV Drama/Action movie as far as excitement goes but a nice evening at the movies for us.

It's a nine for what it is: an action movie with a guy that makes action movies for a living. This isn't Casablanca, ok. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this one. It seems Hollywood is starting to understand that the best action flicks aren't one bad action scene after another; even if it is filled with the same subconscious undertones that make Hollywood the self-indulgent, self-righteous, condescending movie-machine that it is:) It's not the most original plot, given that I saw Mel Gibson in the same movie a decade ago, but who cares; I liked this more than Payback. Jay-lo was really good in this, and she still has a great body, too. I thought it was a good action flick, and I was thoroughly entertained the whole way through, with a few good laughs throughout. See it now!!

I was going to skip this movie until I saw albe.@'s review so I took an educated chance and boy am I glad I did. This movie rocks. One of the very best action movies of its kind EVER! I'm not that hot on the star and I think Lopez is just a ditz, but this non stop film does them proud. You laugh and cringe all at the same time. Beautifully photographed in some pretty cool places. Good plot too. What a thriller and what a welcome change up from the recent Arnold and Stallone movies. Thank you albe.@. Oh, by the way Lopez was still a ditz.

Trailer portrayed a crapload of action and I thought there was going to be more fights as I loved the ones in Transporter but there wasn't that much to be honest. Still ok.

Despite the great name, an average action movie. The story is just so so and Mel Gibson did the whole thing better in the movie Payback. Jennifer Lopez' character was pretty much a waste. If you like Statham's other movies, you'll probably eat this up but don't expect it to be on par with The Transporter.

I was totally entertained, I am a Jason Statham fan and I love his rugged persona with a kindness towards the weaker innocent victims, and a brutal reckoning to the villains who deserve his wrath!!!

I'm a fan of Jason Statham, his movies are always renters, mind you, but there has never been another actor more due for a blockbuster hit. This is not it. Not even close, marginally better than most of his movies and on par with a few. It would have been considerably better if JLo (and the entire sub-plot with her character) was eliminated. I agree with reader above, why was she even in the movie? Hopefully the next one will be better, why can't hollywood throw this guy a bone? His acting is so much better than his movies!

Not good at all, slow and boring - don't bother going not even worth the DVD rental when it comes out... Only redeeming quality was Jennifer Lopez. People actually got up and left a third of the way through and my girlfriend wow loves JS asked if I wanted to leave half way through - that's saying something...

Excellent action movie! Statham style. Great acting and filming. Haven't seen a good action for a while now... No stupidity like in most american action/comedies, but humor is present... A must see movie! (probably without their girlfriends) :)

The movie was not very good. The 80s type flashbacks were completely unnecessary and rather annoying, the storyline was very unoriginal and the ending predictable. All in all, I would not recommend to see in theaters. I'd wait to watch on TV, but then only if there's really nothing else on.

If there was an option to give it 0 out of 10, I would of chosen that. WORSE MOVIE I have seen in a very long time. JLo's role was useless as was her talent. Not enough action. Statham was boring. 2 hours I will never be able to take back.

It's a Jason Statham movie and Jason Statham is Jason Statham. It's tamer than Crank and more exciting than The Mechanic. It's unrealistic and cheesy in parts but that's the genre.
