Having not read the book (because I found the 1st Harry Potter book to be almost painful to get through), I've enjoyed all but the first two movies. And this one is no exception. It's not as good as 4 or 5, but it is a great film. One word describes it: DARK! I found it to be one of the grimmest movies I've ever seen, with Columbine-esque undertones and a serious sense of impending doom throughout. Sure, it's got its problems, since J. K. Rowling was never the most original or imaginative writer on the planet, but it makes for a really terrific movie that, while a little slow at points, really makes up for it with a shocker of an ending (that is, if you didn't know the ending already) I look forward to the next one, even though it will be split into two films.
