The second half of this movie is quite funny. Its humour is mostly slapstick or sight-gags and they are well executed. Thankfully not all of the jokes are seen in the trailers. The movie is weak at both ends. The beginning was rushed with its slide show and does not really enhance the friendship bond between the main characters. The child actors are the worst I have ever seen in any movie. The role of Robin Williams was a bit of a cliche and he was not his usual effervescent self. It seemed to me that his acting looked a bit forced, even during the funnier scenes. Maybe he had a bit of the flu while shooting. Perhaps Adam Sandler would have been better suited for the part. But of course these movies are more about groin shots than of storyline (with all its gaps) It was a good movie and you and the kids will laugh a few times.
