By themselves, the special effects and 3-D aspect are excellent. The detail in the attack on Chicago was eye-boggling. But this movie is way too long! Several parts of the movie could have easily been shortened. The new girl was just like the old one- Run around tumbling through debris and come out with not a single mark on her stark white top... I am not sure why John M was in the movie... And his parents served no purpose to the story. Anyway far too much action for an "action" movie. And this review is like the movie- it is rambling all over the place and is too long.
