I believe that the very first Potter movie was the best. It was fresh and the special effect were novel. This one closed off the series however only a Potter fan would enjoy it. Harry's side-kicks had barely five lines each throughout the movie. His red-headed friend had maybe one attempt at humour. All the regulars were in the movie and had a moment each in the sun. But like Transformers 3, all the good reviews are from fans of the series. This was an interesting movie series but like Star Wars or Raiders, it will only appeal in time to the fans of the book. The 3-D was feeble and did not enhance the movie. If you happened to come to planet earth and watched this as your very first movie you would not get it nor like it. Wait for the DVD The beginning was good but predictable. The middle had too much dialog and the ending was all too predictable with the bad guy waving his wand at the good guy... and losing. Next thing you will discover is that the Decipticons lost to the good robots... and Rocky Balboa may have another fight... but this time it's serious...
