If you have read the books and even just slightly enjoyed them then you MUST see this movie. If you didn't read the books but watched all the movies then you MUST see this movie. For those that are left, you might like this movie or you might not. It has a bit of action and tension but most of the long 2 1/2 hour movie is spent setting the stage for the next movie. It looks like it is dragging along but with all the info they crammed into it, compared to the book it was racing along. It is a MUST see if you plan on seeing the action-packed finale (Part 2) I rated this movie a 7 because as a stand-alone it is quite average.
