Great movie except for the prostitute that mostly naked or in break away clothing, totally not necessary. The content was good and I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this, lot's of action, pretty good story line, excellent actors. Not perfect, but if you're an action fan, than this is a must see.

Movie sucked bum. This sucks. The game was the best game I've ever played. Movie was not even worth paying. And 18A? Are you kidding me? This could seriously be seen by a 12 year old. The people who rated this movie are totally wrong. :(

Pretty darn good for a video game movie! Really enjoyed Olyphant's performance, and Olga Kurylenko did a great job of her role as well. Fun, stylistic violence/action. Not much of a plot, but hey... it's a fun action movie... what do you expect!
| 8/10 | mark_duddridge@ - 13 reviews 6.6.2008 - age: 18-25 |
Thank God I rented this and only paid 3 dollars... it was ok but the acting was mediocre at best... some good action scenes thats why the 6 instead of a 5.

Not bad for a video game movie. Before I saw the movie I thought Olyphant was too babyfaced for the role but he did a good job.

Loved it, Olyphant was awesome, very funny in parts with great action also.

Rly good movie. It reminds me of a mix between jason bourne and shoot em up. I'm definitely gonna watch it again.

This movie is great I saw it twice any rating under 8 is a lie.

Awesome movie! I don't usually go for this type of flick, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Lots of action and a great plot line.

WOW what an awesome movie, best I've seen in a long time. Dead-on assassination's with an unexpected ending to it. If you're looking for an action movie don't wait for the DVD release watch it now in theatres, then buy it the first day it come out.

I'd have to say that "Hitman" was everything that I imagined it to be... an exhilarating, non-stop, insane, shooting rampage all the way. I thought this movie was one of the better action thrillers that I've seen since "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "Casino Royal." Needless to say I was impressed at how fast this film grabs your attention, particularly during the first few opening scenes. The plot here is strong and well constructed, and thickens with intensity at every turn. The storyline creates a real sense of adventure. One can feel the threat of danger and the zest for victory throughout this film. The actor, Timothy Olyphant, who plays Agent 47, does an incredible job at portraying his character. Really, they couldn't have found a better guy. I liked how Olyphant came across as being cool, collected, and suave, while also brazenly showing off his cold, detached, and unmerciful disposition. Of course we know what his sole intent in life is... to kill. Also, good acting performances from Olga Kurylenko. She's sure not too bad to look at. Aside from that there are some amazing, eye-popping fight scenes, plenty of carnage, gunfire, and destruction. Though some people may be taken aback by the amount of violence in this movie, it is to others, a fun, entertaining, edge of your seat thrill ride. However, my only criticism would be that this film could've been a bit longer. Still, it's a really good thriller. Get out to see "Hitman" now.

It was not totally what I expected. It is bit different, but it could have been better if it was better directed perhaps.

Hitman is a very good action movie. This movie talk about the life of a Hitman. The actor acted very well and personally the note on 10 is 8. The soundtrack help the viewer to understand the movie. Sometime the music is stressing but when there's action, she help the viewer stay clam and concentrate. The choice of music in this movie is really appropriate. There is two principal soundtrack in this movie because they play alot of time. The music introduce me in the felling of the mood of the movie. In Hitman the soundtrack is very important. [...]

I'm not a fan of action movies in the least. I just so happened to fall across this movie on a boring night, and let me tell you, this was a fantastic movie.

I think the music in Hitman is very intense, When the principal character kills somebody it really puts you in the action. What I like about the music in this movie it's when the main character tries to hide to someone it make me nervous. What I dislike on this movie the music looks the same. In the movie they have lots of classic music and also rock music. I think the music was important in this movie because the action scene will be boring and to much long without music. [...]

Although I haven't played the game, Timothy Olyphant does look like Agent 47. Good fighting scenes especially in the train. Lots of blood and gun fire. This movie should've rated R in my opinion. The storyline was ok but I felt it could've lasted about 30 minutes longer.
| 7/10 | metalandy2000@ - 84 reviews 17.12.2007 - age: 36-49 |
Fun action movie. Like a Bourne movie with less realism. Stayed true to the game.

Worst ever! Avoid at all costs. That basically sums it up. I left 30 mins. Into the movie I couldn't stand it!

Pretty good movie. It was pretty action packed. Timothy Olyphant looked pretty much like Agent 47 from the video game. To sum it up, a good movie but if you have not played the game, or even know it, then you might be a little confused.

The movie seemed very amateur. The actors were poorly chosen, none of them had any acting skills except for the main girl. The dialogue was bad and the storyline was even worse. The way it was filmed seemed like it was made by new film graduates who had never worked on a movie before. The cast was made up of 98% men. The only women in that movie were the woman the main character saved (who happened to be a victimized, frail and powerless prostitute-slave), drugged out prostitutes owned by one of the characters and handful of female extras. The very last seen at the end looked so incredibly fake that you could tell it was filmed on a stage with one prop in front of a green screen. Overall, it was very crappy... and I usually like these kinds of action movies. Very disappointing.

Good action movie. I like the fight at the train station. The actor look great but he has a kind of good guy face so it's weird to imagine him as a killer. It's a kind of movie that I'll watch again when the dvd come out.

Boooring. And he's not different enough from the creepy bad guy in Die Hard 4. I walked out. Can anyone keep up with Bourne?

I loved it. I played the game (didn't really like it), and expected the movie to be a traditional case of "game turned into bad movie". However I was impressed by how good it was. The action was v. good, interesting story line, and good acting in general. Would go and see it again if I don't find anything else to watch.

This was a great movie, worth to see again and again for sure. The only thing that the movie can improve on is the "last words". Before a character is about to shoot a defenseless character, the line that the character says before he shoots the defenseless character us usually a great opportunity to make a famous quote. For example in Scarface the quote "Kill that Cocka-Roach" in the same situation. In Hitman they don't even try to make a famous quote.

Good movie. Lots of action which was nice to see since the games are a lot of fun. Acting not the best but they make up for it in other areas.

Amazing movie, don't listen to the people who gave it anything below a 7, the director did a fantastic job and Timothy Olyphant did a very good job in the Lead role.

This is a good movie. If you are a 14 years old male! Come on now. The trailer was very good. It made me think there could be some substance there. My mistake. There are some good action sequences. Maybe the story would feel better to me had I played the game.

This was a pretty good movie, the action was excellent, the storyline kept you into it, however, Timothy Olyphant was somewhat lacking in acting ability. Overall, this movie is worth seeing, but I think they could have definitely picked a better lead for it.

The plot is ridiculous and confusing but it is still fun to watch. This movie is pure fluff and if that's what you're after, you'll love it, just don't expect anything particularly original or mind-blowing.
| 6/10 | depthsurge@ - first review 5.12.2007 - age: 18-25 |
The movie was alright nothing more. The choice for the main actor was poor (Timothy Olyphant) someone like Christian Bale would have done a better job. One thing for sure I cant believe is that they reused Scene from a TV Show at the beginning of the movie. The first 10 min are Dark Angel tv serie beginning. They though fans wouldn't notice... The game was much better considering the fact that you where the one creating the situation and the one killing all the bad guys! Overall pretty normal movie.
| 6/10 | ra3prophet@ - 2 reviews 5.12.2007 - age: 26-35 |
HITMAN wasn't a great rating, but it was a shoot 'em up and it wasn't too bad. Cloak and dagger Russian stuff with pretty much non stop action. The preview/trailer was just about as much better than the movie than most are... not unduly so. I put a couple of clips mentally into the rUskies and was hardly sweating even at movie end.
