Lots of humor. Good story too. Just try to stop yourself from the pee pee, you will laugh so hard.

Loved this movie! Melissa McCarthy did not disappoint!! She's hilarious! Laughed fully out loud several times!
| 8/10 | movielover@ - first review 22.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
It's not horrible but it's nothing special. Never really make me laugh out loud at any point. Falls flat at many points and there are lulls. Story is predictable and sappy at the end. A movie you can easily watch at home, instead of the theatre.
| 5/10 | parker_2@ - 297 reviews 20.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
The story, & the way the movie was made did not live up to the potential that may exist with this script. It could have been so much more. I found it flat, lacking effervescence. It's not bad, but then it's not good either. I cannot say it's a movie worth recommending to anyone.
| 6/10 | jam9500@ - first review 14.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
It was amazing. A must see. I love the way McCarthy acted, she is a true comedian.
| 10/10 | oilers383@ - 5 reviews 4.5.2013 - age: 13-17 |
Really hilarious. Go see it! Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy are really good in this together. The chemistry works.
| 8/10 | goomy@ - 41 reviews 26.4.2013 - age: 26-35 |
It was okay. Not nearly as funny as I thought it would be. Melissa McCarthy was hilarious, though. The storyline was just boring, I couldn't get engaged.
| 6/10 | qwerty@ - first review 21.4.2013 - age: 18-25 |
A single premise dragged out much too long but the saving grace was the Bateman, McCarthy relationship. It looked like they were having a blast. Too bad they didn't have better material to work with. It'll be on pay per view soon enough. Worth seeing if you're not paying 6 bucks for popcorn.
| 6/10 | joekanuck@ - 58 reviews 13.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
McCarthy is grating and her comedic skills verge on the gross. Will appeal to teenagers and with adults who enjoy fart jokes.
| 3/10 | executivecoach@ - first review 12.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
Good comedy... nothing side splitting tho... a long SNL skit. Dollar theatre fodder.
| 7/10 | trevordool@ - 9 reviews 8.4.2013 - age: 36-49 |
It was awful. The story was predictable and it quite honestly turned me off of movies for awhile. Save your money.
| 1/10 | kaiiityy@ - first review 6.4.2013 - age: 18-25 |
If you are a fan of Melissa McCarthy go see the movie cause she is great in a not so great movie. She and Justin Bateman are a great duo but the movie really sucks!!!
| 6/10 | fanchon@ - 7 reviews 6.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
I can't beleive it's that bad rated... come on people it's just a comedy. And truly hilarious one! Me and my bf liked it a lot... and we are not fan of stupid teenager movies with no story...
| 9/10 | valeria.skidanova@ - 3 reviews 5.4.2013 - age: 26-35 |
I don't GET those who rate this high. It's right up there with one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. It was predictable and stupid and I know that sometimes stupid is funny but not in this case. I do like the cast but am wondering why they lent their talent to this rubbish.
| 2/10 | cheekypiper@ - 2 reviews 5.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
I actually cannot believe this was so widely accepted... avoid at all costs.
| 1/10 | straszak@ - 3 reviews 4.4.2013 - age: 18-25 |
I picked this movie because I wanted a light hearted comedy with no thinking required. The movie equivalent of chic lit. Definitely worth seeing if you are fed up with action/big star movies and waiting to be wowed.
| 7/10 | msbgknickers@ - 4 reviews 1.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
I have seen this movie litteraly 4 times if not more. I know it by heart! In love with this movie, and the actors ahh the way they act wow! Melissa McCarthy killed this movie and of course mr Bateman. I'm T. I's fan so it was a huge plus, but really I'm amazed by this movie and id be glad to go see it over and over again! MASTERPIECE.

It was just another movie. Not worth $12, maybe $6. Has a few laughs but nothing spectacular.

Super movie and a little crazy. Love Melissa McCarthy!
| 9/10 | frenchchickie@ - first review 31.3.2013 - age: 26-35 |
Okay predictable non original movie with periodical moments of laughter.
| 5/10 | prefernothing@ - 127 reviews 31.3.2013 - age: 36-49 |
Funny at times but too many stretches with not enough humor. Perhaps my expectations were too high.
| 6/10 | jason_d_stanley@ - first review 30.3.2013 |
Don't understand why some people gave this a low rating - what did you want? There was a whole lot of laughing throughout the whole movie when we went & it was still going on at the end. Although there were a few unrealistic things going on sometimes, it was still a "hoot" & a great movie! The cast was all great in their roles & we especially liked Melissa once again!
| 9/10 | barty3298@ - 21 reviews 29.3.2013 |
This was movie was good... Not great. But it had its funny moments, I just thought they could've done better with the great plot idea and amazing actors that they had. I guess my expectations were just not fulfilled the way I hoped they would be.

It kept my husband and I laughing throughout the movie, best one we seen in a while.

This movie is awesome, they rock the people that made this.
| 8/10 | cacanicklovesisa@ - 2 reviews 27.3.2013 - age: 18-25 |
It keeps the audience laughing until the end and has a great story line. I would go see it again.
| 7/10 | fakeemail@ - first review 27.3.2013 - age: 18-25 |
Bateman looked like he didn't want to be in movie. Was like a trains, planes and automobile premise but it was way off. If this had been straight drama, it probably would have great film. Sat in audience of about 20 people. Hardly anyone laughed. Go for a walk instead or see something else.
| 2/10 | mary8472@ - 2 reviews 27.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
Great movie. I saw this twice. It is funny from beginning to end. Loved it.
| 10/10 | tony@ - 2 reviews 27.3.2013 - age: 26-35 |
It was amazing, very fun. I could still keep laughing just thinking about it, I would definitely recommend watching this, totally worth it. & worth the laugh too (:

I thought it was very funny, and so did my friend. Like both stars, they had good chemistry.
| 7/10 | venasilliphant@ - 72 reviews 24.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
Great movie! It's so funny, Melissa McCarthy is great at physical comedy. Go if you want a good belly laugh.
| 8/10 | juanitacao@ - 9 reviews 24.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
Usually gauge how much I enjoy a film by a few factors :- if comedy, number of belly laughs, alert or falling asleep, number of times looking at watch, aware of surroundings or lost in the story. This film had few laughs, at one point I almost fell asleep & I looked at my watch twice... I was aware of the theatre... not lost in the story. So this is one to possibly rent on video... after it has been out for a while... do not rent new.

Laugh out loud funny. Language was unnecessarily profane but otherwise very entertaining.
| 8/10 | andy@ - 13 reviews 24.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
Stupid movie, too many f bombs sick sexual content. Acting was poor and the whole story line was frustrating. Don't waste your money. I was sorry I went. Highly offensive.
| 2/10 | iam4esther@ - 3 reviews 24.3.2013 - age: 36-49 |
This was the funniest movie I have seen in years. It is a definite must see. The acting is fabulous and had the audience in stitches.
| 10/10 | smonsma@ - first review 23.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
This movie has it all, funny, sad, happy, shock, surprises, touching and more. Sure some foul words but hardly worth mentioning. Took a date and she loved it as well. Best movie in ages. Good plot, good acting. You won't fall asleep or get bored at this movie. I may even go again.
| 9/10 | inmyopinion@ - 5 reviews 22.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
It was ok, funny in parts but far- feched in other parts, was ok, not great.
| 6/10 | suesmith7@ - first review 21.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
Went to see this movie tonight and thought it was great!!! I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long time... Jason Bateman and Mellisa McCarthy complimented each other in every way and so did the rest of the cast. I highly recommend it. I dont go to the theater very often BUT watching this has made me want to see more movies... I went with my daughter in law and we laughed till we cried and so did everyone else... 99999999 All the way!!!

As with everyone else, I was expecting to enjoy this movie with Melissa and Jason. I thought it would be funny, if not hilarious. I was expecting to enjoy--even like this movie. Well, I was wrong. I had free tickets and went to see this with my family, but it was not at all what I was expecting. My family might have enjoyed it a little more than me; although I did laugh a few times, the whole movie was disappointingly stupid--I felt like shaking my head the entire time. It was BAD. My family was actually getting on my nerves a little bit, but the movie was horrible anyways so I just got up and left without them (I watched a little less than 3/4 of the movie) The movie was definitely not worth watching, not even alone. Basically, the whole time you'll be kinda bored and sadly wondering whether or not to leave. Then around the middle, it'll pick up again and that's where you'll laugh a second time. Throughout the movie, you'll laugh a few times, but there's also an incredibly crude, gross and vulgar (not in a good way) sex scene with Melissa and a drunk, fat guy Southern guy in a cowboy hat. The scene was very awkward, even if I was not watching this with other people, and they make Jason watch them have weird and kinda violent sex. You'll be yelling at them to get a room in your head; no one wants to see it. It's just awkward and weird and gross; when movie-makers put that kinda "comedy" into a movie, you know it's not a good comedy movie. First it was pretty slow and boring, now the horrible sex scene? By that time, I was seriously debating whether or not to leave, but decided to stay because I was feeling lazy and tired. Good thing it picked up halfway through, but not enough to save me from actually walking out on it soon after; it was that bad. I would not even watch this with my friends, it was just absolutely weird and disappointing; not worth the few laughs I had. It was a pretty forgettable movie, but sadly, not thoroughly so; that sex scene (more like gross porn without the full nudity) will be hard to get out of my mind. Oh and a little warning: Melissa throws up a huge lot in the beginning, so don't eat heavily before or order the hot dogs. I do not recommend this film, just stay away from it really.

This movie was amazing. I advise everyone to see it for good laughs.
| 9/10 | elizabethbradd@ - first review 18.3.2013 - age: 18-25 |
Outrageously funny, has a few sad parts but all in all is a must see.
| 9/10 | djenkle@ - 2 reviews 18.3.2013 - age: 36-49 |
Not much to this one. Certainly not funny, unless you like the repetitious, mundane, everyday kind of humour that you see on sitcoms. Same stuff over and over again. It just is not funny anymore. The comedic creative spark is gone, it seems.
| 2/10 | corey@ - 3 reviews 17.3.2013 - age: 50+ |
Ridiculous... just, flat out ridiculous. I would have given it the 1 rating, but sadly there's worse movies out there.
| 2/10 | fwcopper@ - 10 reviews 17.3.2013 - age: 36-49 |
Not as coarse as I thought it would be. Better physical comedy than I have seen lately.
