Excellent story, acting, etc. I agree that it was too long because of un-needed parts. They could have deleted the narrative behind the backward running clock as it did not relate to the story. The hummingbird appearing a few times also seems pastiche. When the girl realized she was Benjamin's daughter it was never a surprise to the viewer although the filmmaker tries to put her in our position. Over all, the effects were seemless and astounding. Pitt did far more and more believable work here than the dead clown in the other movie who got an oscar for saying 'why SO serious? '
