This movie was one of the most known and romantic Bollywood movie I've ever seen. This movie brought tears and smiles on my face. The lyrics' of the songs had such meaningful meanings to them. Yash, put in a lot of effort into this movie and at the end got the best out of it! I definitely would recommend this movie to Bollywood and non Bollywood loves just because it has the best story, actors, acting, songs, place and most of all the best director.

Jab Tak Hain Jan was one of the best movies I've ever seen in Bollywood cinema. The story line was very different than the rest of the indian movies. Whatever I thought was bound to happen the opposite occurred. This made the movie more interesting to watch. Also the acting of Katrina was so much better than her other movies, the feelings and emotions she portrayed made it seem so real. ShahruKhan, himself, like always made the movie worth to watch with his best acting skills ever. Thus, I belive this movie had a different story to it than other movies. You expect the unexpected from this movie.

Beautiful movie. In times of brainless movies by Salman Khan, Ajay Devgun, and Akshay Kumar who cater to the illiterate audiences, this was a treat to watch.

From the YashRaj factory comes a Yash Chopra masterpiece. Beautiful story, beautiful music, beautiful actors. Sharukh Khan's acting is his best so far, more understated than his earlier films yet still vibrant, as he convincingly plays two very different stages of life. His co-stars Anushka and Katrina complement him perfectly. This film is an instant classic, the new Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a good film, but the plot could have been much better. I had huge expectations for Shah Rukh, especially with him and Yash Chopra combination, however the film was average. I didn't dislike it, but didn't love it either. I felt the script could have been much better, it felt at times that the story was just going around in circles. Shah Rukh's previous films with Yash Chopra were much stronger. In terms of acting, Shah Rukh stole the show, loved him as the 'soldier', Anushka was good but she needs to get out of her 'bubbly' roles, and Katrina absolutely needs to improve in her acting, she had one expression throughout the whole movie. I wish I could have been blown away as its Shah Rukh's film! Still, good acting from Shah Rukh and Anushka, good locations and great songs.

I believe this movie presented one of Yash Chopra's best movies ever. Despite not watching a lot of Indian movies this one touched my heart a lot. It showed that nothing can overcome love. Nowadays love is meant a lot, people throw it as if it means nothing but this movie did define love in its bestest way. The songs also were touching. The actors presented themselves with a very strong role and acted very nicely.

Perfect movie! If we remove some technical pitfalls then script is just outstanding. Deep love, sacrifice, major Samar Ananad, expressive Akira, beautiful Meera... everything is just out of the world. We, human beings need these kind of movies when relationships are fading away in 21st century. Remarkable movie!

This was one of Yash Chopar's best movies ever. Not only did this movie have an amazing director, but the way the scenes were directed made it more valuable. My favourite scene was when Katrina walked in the hospital and saw Shahrukh Khan after 10 years and realized how much she missed and love him. Along with the scenes the movie had amazing songs. Something you wouldn't get bored of. Overall, I would recommend this movie to everyone, just because it brings out the lovable and romantic side of you.

It's a undoubtly the best movie of 2012. A great tribute to the legend Yash Chopra. The beautiful scenery location of Kashmir or London is a treat to watch. Superb performance by the all actors. Shahrukh Khan is still the king Khan of bollywood, the best romantic hero, he s just outstanding. Anushka Sharma was treat to watch her after. Music by A. R. RAHMAN is great. Indians should be proud to have a music director like A. R. Rahman. His style of music is very unique. Hats off to Late Yash Chopra for making such a beautiful movie. May God bless his soul.

I am going today to see it for the 4th time. I love Shahrukh and this is not his best but very good. When he says "Hi, I'm Raj" my heart flips-he looks so cute. It is long but it improves with each viewing-hope it stays for a few more weeks so I can continue to see it. 3 hours with Shah on the big screen-what more can a girl ask for?

This film dissolves your brain as you watch it. It is really all the worst elements of Bollywood all in one. There is no plot. It is pushing a military agenda. It is advertising disgusting products like 'Fair and Handsome' skin whitening cream and the actress has botoxed her face to hell. No redeeming quality in this film at all.
| 1/10 | toughcrit@ - 2 reviews 27.11.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Great effort by Yash Chopra... Sharukh Khan truely an actor playing best of his best.. Katrina had some flows with her acting.. not an actress that fit the role... songs were awesome.. overall a very entertaining & worth watching.. love SRK (h)

I love this movie. Admittedly, I went in knowing what to expect…a Bollywood movie. I did not expect a movie based in reality, I wanted escapism and this is what it provided. I did not want Hollywood, I wanted something that was entertaining. Yes, and perhaps to some I may be simple-minded but I am a hopeless romantic that is grateful for movies like this.

Does not mater what is in the movie, if Shah Rukh Khan appears in a scene he dominates everything. SRK and Katrina worked too late together but they seem to be most beautiful couple in Bellwood. And what a beautiful song is "saans mein meri" Love it.

Very long, seems like the story was stretched for no reason. Do not waste your bucks on it if you have other choice. Should have been a 2 hrs movie max. Lack of creativity and no depth in the storyline.

God save Indian cinema if this kind of crap is being made today in the 21st century. Nothing, absolutely nothing makes sense in this movie. Just one sentence "What a piece of crap". I only saw the big nose of Shah Rukh and I slept having nightmares. His face looks extremely weird and Katrina lip filler was botched. The songs were horrendous. People went to see this movie because it was a Yash Chopra's movie and it fell extremely short. Lost 3 hours of my precious life.

Katrina and SRK make a great pair and they stole my heart away for sure. I loved the movie! Mostly the amazing chemistry between both actors. Anushka was a great asset to the movie as well. I hope to see the pair of Katrina and SRK again in another movie. I must say that this movie should be dedicated to the directors hard work and effort! Love you Yash Chopra!

There is no plot in this movie. Ten accidents of convenience occur out of no rhyme or reason. The most unlikely love stories are formed. The strangest use of Christian iconography and symbolism ever can be seen here! Jesus as prop number one!? Embarrassingly bad romantic story lines. It glorifies the military and the occupation of Kashmir. Then it makes fun of the Pakistani buffoon that is SRKs roomie in the UK. Katrina Kaif has had a horrible plastic surgery and botox job so her acting is even stiffer than usual. SRK is not convincing as a 25 year old at all and Katrina's dancing really puts him to shame as well. The only good thing is the new actress in the movie and even she cannot save it. This film is made for the lower than lowest common denominator. It really pissed me off that so much money is spent on such terrible films!

"Jab Tak Hai Jaan" makes life look easy. So easy that a self proclaimed 25-year-old, who looks 40, gets to kiss a girl who seems to have walked out of Vogue. You also believe that the latter, despite all her Mercedes and Gucci glory, can’t keep her hands off a waiter. Logic is the biggest casualty of JTHJ. In fact its story is its biggest flaw, totally hackneyed. You could say, of course it is, in any Yash Chopra film, but there was always a story in all previous ones. If Shah Rukh Khan lip syncing to a Rabbi song every now and then is not annoying enough, Chopra seemed to have completely lost the plot with the dialogues this time. In terms of acting, Shahrukh is ok overacted at times, Katrina is plastic barbie doll as usual. The only highlight here is Anushka, she is enjoyable as 21-year-old reporter. In one sentence, Jab Tak Hai Jaan gets its romance wrong, watch it at your own risk.

Overall, I went in this movie with huge expectations. It's different, not the typical love story (It's not a love triangle) The movie was shot beautifully and SRK and Anuskha delivered great performances. The songs were amazing and everyone looked great. My only problem is that there was something missing and that was acting from Katrina. Katrina did not deliver but looked and danced well. This did hurt the film quite a bit but other then, it's worth seeing!
