This movie provides a new spin on the usual Hollywood version of Robin Hood. Great acting and the battle scenes were well done. Prince John made a wonderful tyrant and it was interesting that the Sheriff of Notingham had a very secondary role in the movie. Russell Crowe and Kate Blanchett complimented well each other almost a modern version of the couple Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn.
