This is a very good movie, but you need some patience in the beginning. For the first 5 (or was it 10? ) minutes I was wondering what I was doing there at all... and then, almost without warning, it exploded in my face and the real movie began. And it was very different from what I expected from the trailer. Strictly speaking, there was not much of a story, but the movie did an absolutely wonderful job of exploring human feelings. Totally worth seeing!

Pretty great movie! I went in not knowing quite what to expect, and while the first few minutes didn't quite gel, the movie won me over in the long run. The funniest and in many ways best parts were the totally absurd but also, in a strange way, the truest. I wasn't totally convinced by Andy Samberg's performance but it was probably the strongest role I've seen Rashida Jones in. I will say that the Elijah Wood role, while I get what they were going for, fell flat. Overall, a pretty good little indie film with some nice moments and great small roles and cameos. Go see it, enjoy it, but maybe have a drink before to make it better still. But that's probably true of most movies.

Celeste and Jesse Forever is a nicely written and filmed break up film. It was well acted and framed and the dialogue was believable. I would definitely see it again.

A great glimpse at a situation that is growing more common - can you be friends with your ex? How does life continue "normally? "A funny, charming and somewhat reflective movie. Great for a chilly afternoon.

Great movie; loved the story. The chemistry between Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg was great; they both performed really well. Some of the stuff they did, very funny. I think this is a great movie for couples, cause it teaches you some important things about relationships.

Really well done with a lot of thought put into the story with the different ways people behave in relationships!!! The acting was right on as well!

Charming and entertaining, though not as consistently funny as it could have been.

The concept was interesting but pushed a bit too far. Rashida Jones was unlikeable and boring, unbelievable and impossible to root for. The inside jokes between the main couple were annoying and made you hope that the break up was permanent. However, the bulk of the supporting cast was fantastic and nuanced.

A really solid movie. Great performances and a real true to life story about growing up and responsibilities. Definitely worth a watch.

Was looking forward to finally seeing this film based on the storylines but too bad, it was boring. The acting was sub par and Andy Samberg should stick to doing comedies only.

This movie is both funny and heart-wrenching. Its storyline is realistic and the characters seem like people you could know. I would recommend that everyone see this movie!

I had a lot of fun in this movie. Liked the story and characters... although Andy Samberg was a lightweight beside Rashida Jones. If you do not even like romantic comedy this is worth seeing for Rashida Jones' performance.
