Terrible movie, the director could leave more things to the imagination, the story is terrible, it is the worst movie that I have ever seen. It is so graphic that is discusting. AVOID TO SEE THIS MOVIE.

Great acting, interesting plot (and plot twists), nice visuals. Yet it left me a bit cold, I wasn't shocked, I wasn't moved. It didn't touch me much.

I liked the back and forth in time, and the movie within a movie kept you guessing. And the acting and directors style is so different from the american garbage (most the time ) the homosexual stuff did not affect me at all. Not for everyone.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
Every character is both victim and perpetrator of psychological control over another. Each character has his own unique way of controlling another. The director seduces and manipulates the viewer and often catches you assuming the obvious. Who is using whom is often the question. This movie left me with the feeling that a priest is only a transvestite without make-up. Go and see this fabulous movie and ask yourself which character is the most successful impersonator.

Really Bizarre story... Still, if you're chilling out... it might be a good movie to see.

I found nothing very interesting about this movie except for it trying to get mileage out of male homosexuality. Doesn't really make a point otherwise.

Well-written, well-executed, well-composed, well-directed. Lovely score, fantastic performances. Funny, dark, poignant, gentle, disturbing and sweet: perfect almodovar, deeply worthwhile film. Beautifully done. Special, really wonderful.

Excellent!!! Almodovar´s work is amazing. I was totally hooked and didn´t want to miss anything. Of course you have to be open-minded and if you´re homophobic, this is not for you. I recommend it to my friends, but for sure not to my mother, as she would be shocked.

I was a bit worried, after reading the mixed critique, that being an Almodovar fan, will find the film disapponting. A pleasant surprise - although not his best film ever, it is still well-made, well-acted, fun and very enjoyable. As for the gay content - it is not over-the-top at all at all at all, although I can imagine that a scene or two, totalling maybe only a minute or so, would be slightly uncomfortable for the homophobs among us. To sum up - go see it! It is still better than 95% of movies out there and whoever you are, you'll spend fun two hours!

This is a movie with a sensitive subject but nevertheless an important one. The producer made this great move explicit but not vulgar which makes it easier to watch. The movie carries alot of emotion and great acting. In all this movie is a must see in respect for all those 10 year old boys that have been rapped in similar conditions. It is an eye and heart opener!

My expectations where hypped up both by the fact that it is Almodovar and because I had adored his last movie (hable con ella) The movie is beautiful, well shot, most of the actors are doing a very good job and the atmosphere is captivating... So what's wrong? It made me have no feelings towards it. It didn't touch me, it didn't shock me, comfort me... NOthing... I found the whole thing pretty empty and a bit pretencious. I would recommend it to everyone but wouldn't go watch it again. I hope his next one will be better and more humane.

Very good story that is complicated enough to keep you interested yet not too complicated that it becomes far-fetched. Go in with an open mind, don't get too caught up in the always-there Almodovar constants (gay sex, transvestites... ) and see it for the good story that it is: a colorful portrayal of the disturbing beauty of human pasion, loyalty and desire. Read between the lines, appreciate the subtle humor and messages, understand, feel. Oh, and Gael Garcia Bernal is absoluetly scrumptious.

Very, very interesting. Shows the true complexity and spectrum of being human. You won't find the Hollywood good guys and bad guys in this movie. Enjoy!

The ending killed it for me.

A little too cliche for me, a hollywood format. Good cinematography, beautiful colors. The multiple plot twists carried the viewer's interest while character development was underemphasized.

Good movie, but if you are homophobic, this one isn't for you. The story line is a bit difficult to follow especially with the subtitles. This film is based on memories of Almodovar's schooling...

As an Almodovar fan I was very disappointed in this film. The characters were so one dimensional and underdeveloped - especially the adult Ignacio. And talk about implausable! To me it was just pure self indulgence and homo-erotic obsession on the director's part. [...]

Always a big fan of Almodovar's movies. Saw all of them. This one is enlojable, but little bit dissapointed. It's not totally up to his usual standard. Maybe because it's lacking a female presence at the whole movie. It's lacking of the delicate, complex female emotions. Maybe he knows best how to deal with women only.

Bad Educacion it's a great and excellent movie. And if we know Pedro Almodovar we know waht we talking about!! He's just a amazing director and producer. Even Gael Garcia Bernal did a excellent job.
