I kinda liked it. It was interesting enough for me. Nothing fancy or high tech, nice to see for a change.

A winter-season product, but perfectly absorbing once it gets going.

With a talented director at the helm, a sexy leading lady and a mostly A list cast this should have a been a surefire success. Unfortunately not much about this film is particularly effective. UFC starlett Gina Carano can certainly handle herself during the hand to hand action scenes, but her lack of acting ability is a real drawback considering she's in almost every scene. Various talented actors in glorified cameos help a bit but Soderbergh's rigid, straight-laced approach really doesn't lend itself to the action medium, as a result the movie is never exiting, the kiss of death for any action film. A real letdown.

The pace was slow, and the acting was horrible. The story was nonexistent (at least for the first 52 minutes, which is when I finally gave up), and the action scenes were the worst I've seen in years. What a waste of time!

If you like standard movies that explain everything for you, you'll find it frustrating. If you want a genuine mystery, with brilliant acting and an original visual style, don't miss it.

Another great movie by the talented young Director Steven Soderbergh. He has great camera angles, and unique cinematography. The fight scenes have fresh gritty realism that showcases Gina Carano's genuine fighting skills. You can see why she has won her championships in her fighting career. Good movie and deserves more buzz than it got.

I'm a HUGE action fan, this movie was nothing close to what I expected. Not recommended. It would be a whole different story if Jason Staham or Marky Mark would of been part of this movie.

A listless performance by these seasoned actors. A dumb down version of many similar plots/stories (Bourne Identity) Poor character development. It just didn't flow. Parents, please don't bring your young kids to see these type of violent films (at least 3 kids or more, 10 years and under were in the theatre; screaming and crying) Enjoy the show. I would pass on this one. Glad I attended Free with a gift pass.

Not a good story very boring, trailer is the best part of the movie, not as much action as I thought.

The trailer is worse than the movie, I've not seen that for a while. Gina Carano is a credible action star. There is no blurry stunt double required. She's beating people up and she's good at it. I'm sure the other star's had stunt doubles that were bruised and sore. She's not only hot. She appears fit enough to make that a long weekend assignment. There is a running sequence where passers-by turn and watch her. No Hollywood female toothpick star can run like that. The movie has scenes that are unique, imaginative and lent a sense of reality. You just don't find that in standard Hollywood action movies. This director is good. If you want the same old flash bang, explode cartoon stuff, that is necessary because most stars aren't credible Martial Artists... the Hollywood pablum, this isn't it. Could Gina Carano kick Tom Cruise and Daniel Craig's butt? Probably, but she'd first have to dig them out of the snowbank they were hiding in. The sound quality clarity and volume is a weakness. The introductory scene needed to be re-shot up until the action starts. She should have had a silencer for one scene. She's new to acting and will only get better. This is a female action star that you'd actually hire to by your bodyguard. I know I would :) I predict a sequel.

Anything redeeming about this movie was washed away with the amateur acting of Gina Carano... her martial arts skills clearly didn’t compensate. A B grade film with cameo roles of veteran actors...

Wow I really don't get the low rating... The movie was great... This is one of the rare time I would prefer there was more actions... Watching Gina Carano kicking kicking ass was worth the price of admission...

O. k. I was expecting a female version of the "Bourne Identity" series but did not get that. Instead it had some LOL fight scenes, distracting and annoying music background. I did enjoy Gina Carano's running and jumping scenes, quite impressive. Yeah, save your $$.

This was simply average for me, although it was nice having a leading lady who can hold her own! It had a bit of intrigue and suspense among the fight scenes, but at times fell flat due to poor acting and terrible background music (or lack thereof) - which made it seem very amateurish!

It was good! The movie is basically one of the characters explaining to someone what they've been through in the past weeks/months and then you see what is going on in the present. Antonio Baderas' last sentence is priceless!!

Some good fighting scenes but not much of a story line. It was a confusing and somewhat hard to follow at first. And Gina Carano didn't have many lines, just fights.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I had a good. This strangely is a return to the practice of building a movie around a potential star that originated outside of acting. In this case, female MMA. And hey, I like her. She really carried this thing and that gives her more potential to work off of if she continues with. While, I admit she wasn't perfect but for a first time, she could do a lot worse. Trust me. The action is great and brutal, the tone of the film is 60s spy thriller all over and I love it. Problems start to arise with the other, more talented, cast behind. They felt dead in delivery, surprisingly or not worse off than the star. Though, Douglas and Paxton were awesome. McGregor picks up by middle. Fassbender's dead in the water. Looks like he doesn't want to be there at all. Tatum's a joke of actor. The film also has such a washed out look to it, it's nauseating. The score is kinda by the numbers. The story gets kinda overcomplicated near the end. Like why was Banderas there at all? Whatever. Maybe with a bit more effort, this thing would've flew but hey I had fun. It's a cheesy spy thriller, what's wrong with that?

I've never wanted to walk out of a movie so badly! I would rather have watched 5 hours of Barney. There was about 5 minutes worth of talking. The action lasted for all of 2 minutes. The only decent part of this movie other than the ending was the acting from well known individuals. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY/TIME.

A good action movie, with great fight scenes. Gina Carano did a great job and really held her own with such a great male cast that she beat up. I'm becoming a fan of Channing Tatum and Michael Fassbender.

The girl is the main character and does a lot of fighting and running. Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderos have no more than about 10 minutes screen time. Not worth paying to see.

Just awful. No detectable skill was used in the production of this film, and the hype/content ratio is through the roof. I really enjoy a good "action/thriller" as this is described, but I can't figure out how it got put into that category. I am sorry to see so many low quality films hitting the screens in the last year, it really makes it that much harder to see the next one...

I was really bored at this movie, I did not understand anything what happened, nothing made sense. Even my friends who were with me and they usually get complicated movies, here they said they didn't understand some parts either. Some parts are really silly and foolish, also the ending.

This movie was so strange. At first glance you think wow there are a lot of known actors in this movie so it should be pretty good. Honestly, they are barely even in it. This movies revolves around the girl and her martial art skills. Don't waste your time or money!

This was the worst movie I've ever seen. The acting of the lead character was horrible - she held the same expression through the whole movie of trying to look tough and kick-a** but NOT pulling it off at all (trying too hard).. The plot and storyline was all over the place, I still don't know what the movie was about - and clearly all the people who got up and walked out didn't know either... DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

This is a really good movie. It's in the spirit of the Bourne Identity with duplicious bosses, disloyal colleagues, a nice shout-out to the Blackberry plus some fabulous fight scenes with the heroine really kicking ass and taking names. The plot's a little murky but who cares when teeth are being kicked in and [...] crushed by such a babe and in such style!

Wow! Truly I was looking forward to seeing a woman kick some ass- it's only 5min in and the absolute abject bad acting has set the mood for the rest of the movie, it's too bad there is some stellar casting amongst the pultrey makeup, lighting, score and editing- while writing this; I noticed a total of 8 people gather themselves up and leave the theater. Movie industry [...]!
