By far the worst of the franchise. It's like watching a video game. The format, the presentation, and expectations are all the same. The movie lurches from one over-choreographed fight scene to the next with hardly enough time for Milla to catch her breath. The mindless dialogue that does manage to exist in these fleeting moments can't support the weak plot. It's a complete train wreck and the ending promises no respite.

It was exactly what I expected. Honestly they should just make a tv series off it rather then non stop big screen movie already as it's getting tiresome. No offence it's good and all that but come-on!!!

Not the turd I thought it would be. It's not a masterpiece but it's a passable mindless action movie. If you're looking to turn your brain off for a while, you could do worse. As always, Milla Jovovich is easy on the eyes. The 3D was okay but nothing special.

This movie was really awesome, so full of action. It makes you think about what will happen to us in the future.

It was Resident Evil. Like it or not. I did. Stated of from where it left of saw some old friends that were killed off. The first one is always the best.

Terrible graphics... repetitive content... just a shame to resident evil... 1st one was the best.

There was certainly a lot of action but the acting was just terrible and the plot seemed non-existent. This was a very disappointing movie as I have enjoyed the previous Resident Evil movies. I would not see this movie a second time.

It was pretty good. If you're a fan of Resident Evil go see it in 3D. It was a fairly good plot. The ending was awesome and Washington Dc is the city till standing and demented zombies are trying to break into the white house.

Worst movie I've seen all year. The story line of the entire movie should have been 15 minutes and then from their started at the end scene. Most dragged out useless story of an escape EVER!

This movie will get high and low reviews which is understandable. I truly like this movie, it's not just about slaughtering zombies, it has a plot and now that they brought the red queen back again it's truly wonderful, and the ending is so epic, it's amazing. Wesker is the ultimate villain, he is so baddas and chill and the time... I don't understand how he survived afterlife but whatever. If you like these movies go see it :)

Like the video game series the sequels have gotten further and further away from what made this franchise so popular. Never ending fight scenes don't make up for a lame plot and characters who you care less about whether they live or die. You might even find yourself rooting for the Zombies. Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 were fun and well executed. What we have been offered since has been a mess. This is one of those movies that you watch and forget all about it a half hour later. I am a big fan of Resident Evil and I'm sad to say I don't want to see another of these films under this Direction.

I was expecting to be disappointed, yet I wasn't it, a bit slow but all in all worth a watch, maybe not in the movies...

Not enough Zombies. I think I forgot my gamming remote at home for this one! Don't get me wrong I love Resident Evil... it's like the rest of the series. I did enjoy this one but I'm not sure it was worth seeing in theatres. If you are a big fan of Resident Evil, then you will love this movie.

After reading some of the reviews here, I was a little reluctant to see it, but it seems those bad personal reviews are all unwarranted - this movie kicked butt. It was much better than the last one and left quite an enticing lead-in to the next and possibly last installment of this franchise. If you've enjoyed any of the past movies then this one won't disappoint. Enjoy.

I might say that I'm a BIG BIG fan of all resident movie & game. I just simply love ALICE, I was going to see this one without expectation cause people told me it wasn't worth it, I'm glad I didn't listen to those people & still got to see the movie in Imax 3D. I had so much fun, I hope this is not the last one. Can't wait to see it again.

A pretty awesome movie. Has great action, slow-mo effects scenes. Not the best plot but ya. If you are a big fan of RE games (which RE originally is) then you will love it. Has a bunch of elements from previous games, characters and more. For people who only know about the movies, you would mostly enjoy it as 3D action movie. (For those who only know about the movies, they are originally games and the games have a much better story.)

Almost unwatchable, the characters are plastic and stiff, it is hard to connect with any of the movement in this film; just play the video game and don't bother with trying to turn it into any kind of interesting drama. I saw it in IMAX in the afternoon (I was the only one in the theatre, now I know why)

I looked forward to this latest offer in the RE series. The first two were excellent! Good thrillers and I was suitably scared. This one, no so much. I felt like I spent money to watch a 3-D video game. Little plot, predictable acting and ending. I found nothing scary and they relied on LOUD music to "scare" you when something popped up. I felt like I had missed something between the last RE and this one. Lots of gore, shoot-em-up, action and special effects. If you're a 14+ male, you like the outfits.

This IS a great movie in 3D. There's blood, bullets, coins and all kinds of things coming at you from the screen. I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil franchise from the video games to movies. Although people think the movies are suppose to be similar to the video games, but they're not! Movies have to have their own visualization of the video game franchise or else it would make the movies any good. In the end this is a great action pack movie if you like action movies. 10+ since I obsess with the movie.

This movie watches like a video game. The plot is more than thin. At least in the video game, you get to participate. This is the worst movie of the franchise. It's not bad, but it is mostly boring. Even the constant action does not save it.

Cheesy. The action was cool but the story line was garbage and it left you going..."that's it... really? "

Too many simulations and dream sequences. The plot is really weak. The last minute of the movie is interesting.

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil series, game and movie alike, but they are starting to run out of good ideas, the fact that they made this movie a little bit like a game is a nice touch. But the clones, come on someone out there must have had a better idea than that its kinda like all movies into one, other than that and the shooting zombies this movie is full of action and is worth seeing in 3D.

You don't understand the beginning, and the following. But the zombies appear in a scary mood, you jump at the first times. The problem is that all the action is done IN UMBRELLA CORP , it's like a simulation. Michelle Rodrigez is a pretty baddy in this, Milla Jovovich does Muay-Thai like Tony Jaa , she ends up to find back ALL her past powers and more, and the last movie's baddy is a friend to Alice in this film, good watch.
