John Carter did have some pretty good special effects to it and it also followed the books John Carter Of Mars pretty well, but unfortunately the main actor Taylor Kitsch played a terrible part. They really couldn't have chosen a worse person to play John Carter than Taylor Kitsch. Another bad thing about this movie was not only did Taylor Kitsch suck, but all the actors in this movie sucked, Lynn Collins played a decent role, but other than her everyone was just terrible. I get this movie was made for a younger audience, but since it's John Carter Of Mars they could have made it a little less corny and they could have hired better actors as well. So John Carter is a 5 out of 10 for me, if you're a fan of the books John Carter Of Mars then you will be very disappointed with this movie, but if you're a kid that loves Action/Adventure movies than you will probably love this movie.
