A beautifully shot movie of this complicated, sometimes hard to follow story that is brought nicely to a conclusion in the final scenes. Great acting by all but special mention should be made of James McAvoy's performance and the short but absolutely stunning contribution of Vanessa Redgrave as the older version of Briony. Bravo!
