This movie was truly dreadful. I very nearly walked out.

As far as romantic comedies go, I thought this one was really funny. If you're a Zach Braff fan and like his movies (Garden State, The Last Kiss), you won't be disappointed.

I understand why most men are disappointed... It's more girly than most romantic comedies, by dealing with more feminine topics. However, the cast was awesome; very good performances by everyone from Bateman to Braff, to Amy Poehler to Charles Grodin. Cute, fun, and a light-hearted comedy!

Not bad... I liked it. Is it worth the fortunes you pay at the theater?. rent it.

Enjoyed the story as well as the comedy.

Zach Braff shows us once again that he's not made for the big screen, you'll get a couple of laughs mostly from Jason Bateman performance other than that you will holding your self back from walking out most of this movie.

The Ex is a movie that had tons of potential, but the direction derailed it. Too bad to see such top-notch talent left hung out to dry.

Great casting, poor screenplay... Only too see if you are a Jason's or zack's fan.

It was really funny and plotted well, although some things did not need to be added and were inappropriate.

Very disappointing, not nearly as funny as it looked in the previews... Very bizarre, some parts bordering on disturbing. Wouldn't recommend it or watch it again.

It was like watching an hour long episode of a sitcom. Not so good, but I have seen worse.

It had its moments, I was also fairly surprised, but not the best.

The ex is very boring, me and my 8 year old daughter saw it it was horrible the acting and everything.

I was very surprized with the quality of the acting in this movie. I am a fan of Zach Braff from Scrubs, and if you enjoy him on his show you can expect a lot form the Ex.

I loved this film! It actually had me laughing out loud several times, and that is rare! I am a big fan of Zach Braff and Amanda Peet, they did not disappoint. It is a great movie to watch with some girlfriends and on a date, guys can enjoy it as well.

Count me as someone who is very surprised with this film. I went only because I'm a fan of Zach Braff and Jason Bateman and I ended up liking this movie a lot more then I thought I would. I think it's a great date flick (guys are going to love a lot of this more then the girls will) and the talented cast really do a good job at making this mediocre film much better then one would expect (Look for some of the really funny surprise cameos) All in all, just a fun movie to set your mind off to and enjoy. Highly recommended to any guy bringing a girl on a date or if you're a fan of "scrubs" like odd ball humour.

It was plain and a little boring. Good fro teenyboppers... Dull acting and boring plot. I won the tickets so it was free!!! Wait for the Video.
