Love the film! It has everything, romance, suspense, humour and splendid acting! Ranbir steals the show with his superb acting, and both Priyanka and Ileana are really good. The film really touches your heart and teaches you to be a better person, give love, and enjoy life. A great film for everyone! A must-watch!

I thought Barfi was about someone who was always getting sick. Hence the title. In fact it's just the millionth bollywood typical dancing singfest.

Such a beautifully stunning movie! It touched my heart, Props to Ranbir Kapoor for AMAZING acting. It is a unique, one-of-a kind film that only comes around once in a lifetime! It is about a deaf man who is rejected by the average girl for being deaf. He then introduces that girl to the new love of his life, Priyanka Chopra, which helps brings twists and turns in his life! Great movie! I will go and watch it again!

Very true heart touching movie. Loved acting of Priyanka Chopra and Ranbeer Kapoor. Now he looks like he has genes of Kapoor family.

This movie will take you on an unforgettable journey. The acting was superb (Priyanka and Ranbir did a phenomenal job), the direction was impeccable and the wonderful music and cinematography were the "icing on the cake". It is one of the best movies I have ever watched. The characters and story stay with you long after you have left the theatre. If only there were more films like Barfi. If there is one movie you want to watch this year... it has to be BARFI.

I was a little lukewarm about this film at first. It's a bit long. But it's whimsical, colourful and wonderfully acted. It reminds me a bit of the film Amalie in that respect. I saw it a week ago, and It has really stuck with me in a way that most films don't.

Ranbir, in the most challenging performance of his career leaves us 'astonished'. He is fabulous and charming and yet again proved his mettle as an actor. Priyanka, once again proves that she is ahead of all her contemporaries of her era. She is absolutely brilliant. And Last but not least, Anurag Basu, he did a phenomenal job. He remarkably immerses you in his world of sounds and verbose silences, recreating Chaplin's antics, stripping two superstars down to basics and sensitively spinning a magical world of unconditional love. A True Masterpiece!!!

A must see movie. Well captured the nature of love, beauty, and disabilities. The director, the cinematographer, and the actors have worked well together to produce the reality of people in different stages and places in life. Just magnificent movie. I think the movie is award worthy. It really touches your heart strings but even-moreso will make you laugh your pants off. Ranbir did an amazing job. Amazing. There were some slow moments but it's still worth a 10/10.

Okay it could have been shorter. But it is still a great watch. Ranbir does very well. But the real surprise is Priyanka. The other girl is also good. She really gets into the skin of her character. The music is melodious. It was a joy to watch, no jarring music. Bollywood is growing up slowly but surely.

What a great movie. It's poignant, yet entertaining. Chaplinesque, yet romantic. Realistic, but not so. Driven by brilliant performances by Priyanka, Ileana and of course Ranbir, I think higher credit should go to Anurag Basu. He directs the film in simple flourishes, that piece together wonderfully. Finally, Pritam gifts us a really mellow and melodious soundtrack.

Ranbir Kapoor has an innate ability to perform. That this movie would be his best ever, has come to me as a surprise. Priyanka Chopra just stunned us all. Absolutely mammoth! The movie was very good but I found it a little depressing because there was a lot of sadness in the movie (as typically I like happy films), even though the character of Barfi brings so much positivity to the whole plot yet I found that a human being can bring so much happiness to himself and others but is still so susceptible to sadness in his life.

Wonderful wonderful movie. Ranbir Kapoor has acted superbly. He is now a matured actor of Bollywood. Rishi Kapoor is nothing in front of him. My entire family enjoyed the movie. So entertaining and so gripping, well edited and acted well by all. Even my son liked it. Ranbir should be given national award for his acting. Photography and dialogues are super. [...]
