As a viewer I was fascinated from beginning to end of this film but then I'm in my 60's and lived through the Nixon years and Watergate and I watched the David Frost show many times although not the interviews with Nixon. In short I brought a lot of personal knowledge and experience to the film. So that may be part of the reason that I was riveted to the big screen. Both lead actors were excellent in their roles as were most of those in minor roles. I totally agree with the nominations of the this film. However if you didn't bring much history to this film, your enjoyment and comprehension would definitely be affected.
