I wish every Quebecer would see this movie. Unlike most environmental documentaries, this film not only brings home the heart-stopping beauty and fragility of an ecosystem (the Romaine river in this instance), and makes you aghast that it will be destroyed, but shows us a better way, making the case, complete with financial justifications--for Quebec to turf its spiraling dependance on ever-more hydro-electric development in favor of other renewable energy technologies. The film also provides practical tips for saving energy on a personal level. I resolve to get a thermal solar water heater because of this film. Highly recommended!
