Honestly I did not think I would like it but it was not bad at all. It had its moments but it was good.

Alright movie to see if you're bored and there's nothing else to do.

Well, I wanted something mindless and entertaining. The first is true, the latter not so much. Horror, even bad horror, can be fun, but this pile of dung couldn't get it right.
| 3/10 | crooker41@ - 165 reviews 24.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
It sucked and it had no base line and it was terrible never watch it, it is a terrible waste of money and time.
| 1/10 | nicholas.patterson@ - first review 23.9.2011 - age: 13-17 |
An obvious error was making this PG. If you are going to make a movie as senseless as this, you might as well go all out over the top. The story was foolish, the acting terrible and the rating means you get no real gore, no nudity and in general nothing at all like last years successful Piranha 3D spectacle. Watch it on tv, if desperate.
| 5/10 | leegielen@ - 17 reviews 20.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
So going into this movie I was expecting a bad horror movie, and I am easily scared so I thought why not but seriously the acting was terrible, the plot was terrible and in general this movie was just down right terrible. If you want to watch this movie safe your money and rent it because I'm telling you, it's so bad you will probably not even finish the movie.

By far the worst movie of the year. This movie has terrible acting, terrible story and is super predictable. I don't know how a shark can outrun a boat and how they attack people for absolutely no reason. Your better off watching a brick wall then this movie.
| 1/10 | kdgohabsgo@ - 12 reviews 18.9.2011 - age: 18-25 |
This movie is the definition of sadistically sassy! I have never been so enthralled by a film of this nature, can you say jaws with sprinkles on top!
| 8/10 | bootsy104@ - first review 17.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
I was expecting more- I like chessy movies but this one just sucked - save your money.
| 2/10 | amyms76@ - 14 reviews 16.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
This is truely the worst movie ever made. Ridiculous from start to finish. So unrealistic, poor acting, poor story. Please don't waste your time or money. Not even okay for a silly scare/teen horror flick.
| 1/10 | snowdaycrew@ - 8 reviews 14.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
A disturbing account of perverted cinema tied into a low budget film about nothing, starring nobody.
| 1/10 | movie.dude@ - 36 reviews 14.9.2011 - age: 18-25 |
This movie was a waste of money and avoid at all costs!! The sharks were fake looking and the story line was awful. If you want a shark movie stick to Jaws!!
| 1/10 | angelacanuel@ - 2 reviews 12.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Unbelievable plot, poor acting and rather poor CGI, makes Shark Night a bad movie. Not even bad enough to make it a true “B” movie. The modern day Jaws this certainly isn’t, it doesn’t even compare to Jaws, ok well it is close to Jaws 3 but that was also a bad movie. Don't waste your time on this one.
| 3/10 | daveferringo@ - 19 reviews 12.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
It's a GREAT MOVIE for all those haters this is actully a good movie and it's much like Piranha 3D but the 3D effects were much better.
| 9/10 | alyana123@ - 6 reviews 11.9.2011 - age: 1-12 |
It was very exciting movie, a lot of action in it from start to end.
| 10/10 | stevensmith111166@ - 7 reviews 11.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
This movie was ok... it was not all bad, the back story was summed up in one sentence "it's a salt water lake" then the chicks were hot, the sharks were cool but the overall story left something to be desired, there was not enough out of the water action, not to mention the little nerd crush on the hot chick, but they all keep going into the dam water, 5 shark encounters could have been avoided if they had not gone in the water, and holy crap what college kids family doesn't have wifi!!

Okay. SHARK NIGHT 3D. Cheesy, as expected, but better story than expected. The 3D under water was very effective. Everyone was there: the hot chick (with issues), the study nerd (but good-looking, and with the hots for the hot chick), the male model, the bad girl, the wiseass, and the star athlete and his girlfriend. It was kind of funny that they tried to throw in a bit of social commentary for good measure, but I think it was mostly lost in the 3D shark attacks and blood.

I really enjoyed this End-Of-Summer movie Premiere a lot! It was the perfect period to place for all the films that came out to the theatres over the last couple of months! Ridiculous/silly plot, fun characters, great underwater 3D sequences, and another movie that doesn't take itself seriously AT ALL (much like "Piranha 3D"), all make for a fun and funny night out at the movies! I wish more of these crazy films would get theatrical releases! I'm so tired of seeing ones that people just want to see because of rumoured Oscar nods! I haven't read any reviews here before posting mine, but I'm sure there's the always complaining/whiny bunch who are never satisfied, and want their money back! Why do you even bother! The title says it all as well as any trailer/TV Spot you might have already seen for this! If this genre doesn't interest you, DON'T GO AND QUIT WHINING! Lol.

This movie sucks for various reasons: 1. The Sharks are fake. 2. Hammer Heads do not kill people. 3. I doubt Sharks can keep up with a speed boat. 4. Predictable with college kids being killed. I wonder who are the people that give a sucky movie a 10. They must [...] have real bad taste on movies.

Great movie! I enjoyed it a lot. Much better than Piranha 3d.

Only part I liked is when they were playing beer pong in the pool.
| 2/10 | jordino_404@ - 14 reviews 6.9.2011 - age: 18-25 |
Plot lacking, acting lacking, even the 3D lacking. The trailer for the previews had better 3d than the film. A rather expensive disappointment.
| 5/10 | terrdieh@ - first review 6.9.2011 - age: 50+ |
This movie needed one thing to make it worthwhile. An 18A rating. There was no gore/sex/nudity/language that makes a movie like this into a cult classic. This movie could be shown on basic cable with very, very little editing it's so tame. If they had the director from the latest Piranha remake we would have had a much better time.

It was terrible and the only thing that I enjoyed was when the guy with only one arm killed the shark, that was really awesome.

The storyline is an insult to your intelligence (3 people moving over 300 sharks to a lake!?!) Special effects pitiful. 3D non-existant. Avoid... even on dvd.

Well well, I enjoyed the movie, story was like everyone say predictable. As a shark fan, I think it's worth watching it... Although story and casting wasn't that great and visual effects were 5/10 which was the down point of this movie... They could do so better and 3D was okay actually! Anyways, I honestly enjoyed how people were killed, it was funny in a good way! Enjoy.
| 7/10 | habs_ticks@ - 10 reviews 5.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
Well to be perfectly honest... what can you expect? It was 99% horrible, 1% eh. Bad acting not enough boobs.
| 3/10 | dirk_nova@ - 2 reviews 4.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
I liked it! Story line was a bit weird and unusal. Typical shark movie, very predictable. EXCELLENT IN 3D! Worth seeing for the 3D. If not, make it a rental.
| 7/10 | fuzzycat901@ - 55 reviews 4.9.2011 - age: 13-17 |
I went into this one expecting a chezzy teenie bopper gore fest. Most of the scenes were totally unrealistic, I took it for what it was. Apparently others figured it was going to be a Spielberg classic before going. Good Lord... what did you expect lol. Good for a 1.5 hr comedy. Loved it in as much as it was.

| 2/10 | kv127@ - 14 reviews 3.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
It wasn't that bad, very predictable, 3-D effects so so, the guys are really hot, maybe you can wait and rent it.
| 6/10 | hdmorenos@ - 47 reviews 3.9.2011 - age: 36-49 |
For those who have seen the previous ones, this might be a disappointment. 3D effects not worthwhile but still fairly good to watch. Might there be a sequel!

Despite the young, good-looking cast, "Shark Night 3D" was an awful film. The premise was simple enough, but the movie used almost every cliché known to man and fish... Anyway, the film does well in the looks department; the girls were sexy in their skimpy bikinis and the boys rocked with their ripped bodies. Although the story took place in a gorgeous setting (a lake island in Louisiana) the film disappointed in many other areas. The acting was campy and melodramatic. The dialogue was crude and vulgar. Majority of the scenes were quite predictable and the "gags" all were over-done. CGI was completely overused and I felt it lost its effect halfway through the film. Seeing the movie in 3D was a slight positive because the sharks jumped out at the audience, but altogether "Shark Night 3D" was a terrible film. I don't recommend that you see it...
| 3/10 | jovan_fili@ - 3 reviews 2.9.2011 - age: 18-25 |
This looked awful but I love sharks and shark movies so I gave it a shot. Well I was right it was pretty terrible. I was expecting the bad acting and the even worse writing, but I was hoping they'd have at least a few good shark scenes in 3D. Not only was the 3D a complete bust (almost none-existent) but even the shark scenes were weak. They through in a bunch of different species of shark, including one I had never heard of, but all to no avail. The few Great White scenes were the only thing worth recommending but they were fleeting. AWFUL!!!
| 3/10 | jfichaud@ - first review 2.9.2011 - age: 26-35 |
Not too much suspense as Steven Spielberg's Jaws 1 and 2 that are far better, but "Shark Night" in 3D is however a good movie to watch...
| 7/10 | j-sergenina@ - 229 reviews 2.9.2011 - age: 50+ |
I hated this movie. It was awful. I was the perfect target audience for this movie and STILL didn't like it (I like sharks, I like scary movies, I like Katherine McPhee's sideswell), so that tells you something about how terrible this one is. I don't know how you make a shark movie without any suspense whatsoever, but bravo to the screenwriter for finding a way. And then half-way through the movie, it's like they ran out of ideas and added antagonists that make ZERO sense. The backdrop of their motivation is so weak. Ugh, to be avoided at all costs.
