Finally got around to watching this film and was pleasantly surprised, although I don't remember seeing the "f" word while reading the saga in high school. The Icelandic scenery is breathtaking. The main sore point is Sarah Polley's limited range in acting and her inability or unwillingness to affect a Nordic or British accent. Despite her, still a movie worth watching.
