This movie was awesome! I didn't know anything about John Carter beforehand, other than the title seemed a bit lame and the trailers looked okay. My expectations were a little on the low side, but what a pleasant surprise! The story is good and the action is plentiful and entertaining. It has a 1980's kind of Star Wars flair. It was a good mix of Star Wars, Brave Heart, Indiana Jones, and Clint Eastwood westerners. The visuals are fantastic and the CGI is very high quality and believable. I think Disney should have done a better job promoting it and therefore, this movie is understated. THIS IS A MUST SEE MOVIE!!!
