Walked out in the first 10 mts - hubby doing oral thing with wife - sick. Poor quality. Acting awful. Don't take kids this should be R rated. Morals - everyone sleeping with everyone, sick and tired of that crap. Save your money and go to something else -trust me.

We really liked this movie, and being Catholic I think made it funnier. Good actors, plenty of laughs.
| 9/10 | lvlake@ - first review 22.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
It's a good movie but very slow during the first half part. De Niro is funny, as well as the other actors and actresses, until the end when we hear the old song "Save the last dance for me". Bref, c'est un bon film qui mérite d'être vu pour rire un peu de ces 'scandales dans la famille'.
| 7/10 | j-sergenina@ - 226 reviews 21.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
This movie was so bland. I forgot all about it by the time I got to my car after leaving the theatre! Just another movie about rich people's problems.
| 5/10 | toni@ - first review 19.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
It was very good and funny, a must see.
| 9/10 | cindypearlswinimer@ - first review 18.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
A great funny movie with many great actors and actresses all in one movie. A laugh from the first of the movie to the end. We all need a laugh, and this is the one to do it in. You won't be disappointed...
| 9/10 | marion1@ - 3 reviews 17.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Huge disappointment from such a talented cast. No chemistry between the characters, and unbelievably slow plot at times. Had good comedic potential but often the jokes fell flat.
| 5/10 | fornarina_girly@ - 156 reviews 17.5.2013 - age: 26-35 |
This is the worst movie I have seen in a very long time. The story is funny and the acting is good, but I think it comes down the writing and the chemistry. None of the conversations or relationships are believable, and you really don't care what happens to the characters!!
| 2/10 | lhilderman@ - 2 reviews 17.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
Great movie! Definitely a must see in the theatres!
| 9/10 | sarah.crawford87@ - first review 16.5.2013 - age: 18-25 |
Very boring and slow movie, did not like it all. Although I think older folks might enjoy it a lot.
| 2/10 | megan_patricia_mitchell@ - 2 reviews 15.5.2013 - age: 18-25 |
Enjoyable, funny, great actors. Laughed from the beginning to the very end, great story line. Nice all american movie without violence, I am going to see it again.

I really enjoyed this movie! Maybe I went in with low expectations because of the reviews but I thought it was a nice feel-good movie, a good movie to go out to with the girls!
| 7/10 | bluewaves12@ - 7 reviews 14.5.2013 - age: 18-25 |
Really funny, I thought I wouldn't like it but was really good.
| 10/10 | brennageorge_13@ - first review 14.5.2013 - age: 13-17 |
Not recommended. To much fluff. Lots of great actors gone to waste.
| 3/10 | juicy@ - first review 14.5.2013 - age: 26-35 |
We loved it! An all around good "girls day out" movie.
| 9/10 | robincarver42@ - first review 13.5.2013 - age: 26-35 |
The Big Wedding is the Big Flop. Not funny at all. Maybe a few scenes were cute but that's all, nothing more.
| 2/10 | mcgillmedstudent@ - 22 reviews 12.5.2013 - age: 18-25 |
If a movie makes me laugh until I get tears, it's a good movie. I need one big laugh at least to consider it a good movie and worth my money, but this movie I only got a few chuckles. I guess the writer or director did not have the same type of sense of humor as I do. DeNiro's dialogue and character came close to what I consider being funny but the rest came up short. I guess it was more of a drama than a comedy. I thought Diane Keaton was miscast in this movie. Without DeNiro the whole movie would be a flop. I think the very very old would like this movie. It's too tame for my tastes. Go to one of the independent theatres to watch this movie, you'll at least save a few bucks.
| 4/10 | deedee@ - 25 reviews 12.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Cliché after cliché. Only one surprise at the end but even that won't save the movie. Too bad, I expected better considering the wonderful cast!
| 3/10 | mferoyer@ - 14 reviews 11.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
It was nice seeing so many good actors in The Big Wedding, the movie does not offer something new or any surprises. It has a few jokes and goes on the same level from beginning to end. If you want a feel good movie this one is for you.
| 5/10 | frederichamra@ - 32 reviews 11.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
Because of the rating... we hesitated to go see this movie... but decided to go anyway... To our surprise... it was a FANTASTIC MOVIE!! It made us laugh and cry!!! Great actors and great acting by all the casts!!! A must see for everyone!!!
| 9/10 | camjo2314@ - 5 reviews 11.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
My husband and I really enjoyed this movie. Laughed a lot. Love the actors in this movie!!

My friends and I all enjoyed it, lots of laughs, great cast.
| 7/10 | margo-sloan@ - first review 9.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
This is a very funny movie. All of the impossible situations included drove fans crazy. Robin Williams the priest from Neverland. De Niro's comedy is so unpretentious, you want to laugh everytime he opens his mouth. Sarandon looked great.
| 7/10 | wildonesart@ - 33 reviews 9.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Terrible didn't understand it! Worst from De Niro!! Terrible plot thought I was gonna cry for how pathetic it was!!! AVOID THIS MOVIE! Go watch Pain & Gain at least it's worth it.
| 1/10 | bigg_17@ - 7 reviews 8.5.2013 - age: 18-25 |
It was okay. Had a great cast with tonnes of potential, but didn't quite hit the mark.
| 6/10 | jackie.fehrkrahn@ - 11 reviews 8.5.2013 - age: 26-35 |
Not funny, too many good actors, bad script, some parts very funny, paste of good talent.
| 6/10 | tayl3674@ - first review 7.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Not a single likeable character in the whole movie. Rather than being comedic, the interaction between the characters is mean spirited and cruel. There is some deep seated anger here and it's not something you want to see. For such an all star cast, the acting is horrible. Call me old fashioned, but discussing and bragging about sexual conquests with one's parents is just not done. This is possibly the worst movie I've seen in a very long time.
| 2/10 | rubyjuly@ - 2 reviews 5.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Very disappointing. The great cast had me anticipating a really good movie, but the humor fell short and the story line felt weak.
| 5/10 | doikar@ - first review 5.5.2013 |
I loved the movie it was sooo funny and the acting was fantastic. Great movie.
| 9/10 | blackieirene@ - 12 reviews 5.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
So many good actors for so mediocre film. What a waste! In priciple I like intelligent humor, but I don't understand why people find humorous this movie. A kind of humor for simple-minded. Does to ridicule religion mean humor? Yeah, I forgot that risus abundat in ore stultorum.
| 5/10 | chekhov123@ - 12 reviews 3.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
The movie was funny with a lot of great actors, but the content was somehow a little bit poor and could definitively have been better with all those great actors. I did laugh and enjoyed it though but was expecting more.
| 6/10 | juliedesalliers@ - 2 reviews 3.5.2013 - age: 26-35 |
VERY disappointing. The trailer was better than the movie. So many great actors... but a very mediocre film. However, there is one touching moment provided by De Niro.
| 5/10 | filmlover@ - 4 reviews 3.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Great movie to see with a friend for a few laughs. The movie had many funny parts and was not too long. Expected much worse after reading some of the reviews but it was enjoyable.
| 7/10 | mm13@ - 18 reviews 3.5.2013 - age: 26-35 |
Funny and very entertaining. The story was good, the cast was great, the place where they shot the movie was beautiful. I think it's a great movie to watch with family and friends.
| 8/10 | greco64@ - 403 reviews 2.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
It was an excellent movie. For a Thursday the room was full and everyone was laughing and having fun. A lot of good actors and the story was good.
| 9/10 | jozel35hotmail.com@ - 27 reviews 2.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
I love it, great movie to see with friends or family, it actually makes me want to have a family like that it's just a very cute movie oh and very funny!!! And emotional at parts but in general very fun movie, with two hotties.
| 10/10 | simranbs@ - 10 reviews 2.5.2013 - age: 13-17 |
If you're looking for light and comical entertainment, this movie is for you. Always good to see Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton. Supporting cast includes many familiar faces. Story line is not much of a surprise but still provided some light-hearted entertainment.
| 7/10 | marynicholas@ - first review 2.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
A cute, light-hearted movie about a wedding, and how dysfunctional family issues get dredged up at such things. Solid actors lend their support to this movie: notably, Robert de Niro, Diane Keaton, Susan Sarandon, and Robin Williams. However, the cast is not enough to make it anything more than amusing fluff. Consider renting for a relaxing night at home.

We're not talking an Oscar nominee here, but The Big Wedding was a fun movie to go to with a group of girlfriends. There were good laughs throughout the movie and we came away happy. What more can you ask for?!
| 7/10 | sonjahawk@ - 8 reviews 1.5.2013 - age: 50+ |
Typical American movie. It's cute and funny. Worth seeing.
| 7/10 | lyna1202@ - first review 1.5.2013 - age: 36-49 |
I read scathing reviews the morning before we were going to see the movie. We had our tickets so it was too late to cancel. It was just okay. There was potential to be a hit comedy movie (I won't say blockbuster because there'd have to be a total remake) Missed the mark on so many occasions but still funny in other spots. Not a total waste of popcorn. Not a critic.
| 6/10 | radar1@ - 7 reviews 30.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
I thought it was a very good and light romantic comedy with great actors. The story was good, nothing special, but it was solid throught the movie. It was the first romantic comedy in a while that I thought was really good. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
| 7/10 | m.boaknin@ - 2 reviews 30.4.2013 - age: 26-35 |
This felt like a mish-mash of funny one-liners pretending to be a movie. I read afterwards that it was an English version of a French script, which explains a lot (it would have been better in French with English subtitles)
| 5/10 | louroo@ - 4 reviews 30.4.2013 - age: 50+ |
Some funny parts but better as a rental! Too many cliched story lines.
| 5/10 | liana@ - 2 reviews 29.4.2013 - age: 36-49 |
This is one hilarious film, I'm totally shocked by the negativity on this one, a lot of folks in the audience today were cracking up laughing!!!
