This was very weird... it had some good moments. Some of the music and singing was good. I find this one very hard to rate, it's good for a rental but only if you like horror opera...

It was well done, cast was questionable for a bit, but I enjoyed it, and recommend it to all... even Paris did a fair job.

This movie is truly horrific, and I mean that in a negative sense. The musical score all sounds the same so its like hearing the same tune over and over again. The acting is bad and the storyline is all over the place. The movie tries to be artisitic, trying to copy Sweeny Todd but it does not succeed. You would be better off watching episodes of American Idol and Saw 1-5. I wish I never paid money to see it. I can't believe people would even compare this to Rocky Horror Picture Show or even give it a score more than 1. If there is a score of zero I would give it. What a total waste of my money and time!

I don't think I would call this movie a horror movie. The music was great, especially the songs "I'm infected" and "Zydrate". These songs will stick in your Head! I was kind of hoping that the movie would be a little more on the cheezy/funny side... for instance in the tune "mark it up" there is definitely a cheeky feel, but on the whole the movie tends toward the serious side of things. Edgy music, edgy movie. Go see, but be prepared: it is an opera! Much of the movie is done via music & singing.

Great performance, especially Anthony Steward Head with his acting and vocal, didn't expect this. Sarah Brigthman excellent vocal, this fit her role so much. The others actors was good. The color and gore just match gloomyly well together. Only the last act don't like too much, was expecting an unknow surprise.

Be sure to sing along. Bring a friend. Wear a costume. Rocky Horror combined with Freddie Krueger.

Okay, so I only saw it because I really wanted to see Paris Hilton playing a dark, morbid, tortured character. She did GREAT!!! She really showed that she's not just some dumb, ditzy blond. So, congrats Paris. However, I didn't really like the movie. I was surprised because it seemed like my type of movie. I'll be seeing it again and hopefully I'll like it more this time. If I could, I'd give it a 5.5/10.

A bloody bombastic musical with a hodgepodge of genres and ideas piled together. Andrew Lloyd Webber must be turning over in his grave. Awful, awful, just plain awful!!

This is a fabulous movie. Anthony Stewart Head does an incredible job as Nathan, really portraying the emotional struggle Nathan is going through. Alexa Vega has really grown up from the little girl in Spy Kids. The music and acting in this movie is fantastic. Everything was extremely well done.

An unbelievable rock opera. I'm not usually into musicals but this movie blew me away. I loved every second!

This could very well be the next Rocky Horror. Definitely has the makings of a cult classic--sort of feels like Sweeney Todd and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog had an unholy lovechild, and it was The Antihero Goth Rock Opera of the decade. Anthony Stewart Head was superbly cast in the role and I found his performance touching and believable (in a dark comedy, this isn't always easily achieved) Paris Hilton and Sarah Brightman in their roles as the surgery-addicted celebrity and the tragic chanteuse were also believable. It's not often that I want to praise Hilton for something, but the Michael-Jackson-like skin issues built up to one of the neatest (if grotesque) scenes in the entire film. The scenery/setting was a gorgeous mixture of Bladerunner and Tim Burton influence, and the use of comic book frames to deliver information to the audience meant that the story was able to progress fluidly without the long stretches of exposition that sci-fi often falls prey to. Instead, the pacing was quick, allowing for many entertaining action and burlesque dancing scenes. I really hope this film gets a longer run, because there are a number of people I'd take with me if I got to see it in theatres again.

I traveled from Victoria to Vancouver to see it. I was looking forward to it since it was announced at last years scream awards. Stunning performances by all. Don't let Paris's rep fool you she can act. F/x were amazing. Creepy all star cast. A must see. The dvd comes out jan 20th 2009 sound track is available now at amazon.

A GREAT movie. I saw it at Fantasia an am waiting for it in theaters to see it again. I loved everything about this. Is refreshing and fun and dark and generally lovely. A must see for horror/goth/darkly minded people.

I saw this at Fantasia as well and I highly recommend it. It may seem like it appeals to a smaller audience than the average film, but a good film is a good film, not matter who it stars or what the genre. The visuals in the film are also worth seeing, as well as OGRE from SKINNY PUPPY!
