Was at the edge of my seat. A truly wonderful action thriller.

Unstoppable was unstoppable boredom! I thought it would be good but it's worse than The Love Guru.

Let's start with the pace of the film... perfect. Truly and "edge-of-your seat" flick. The visuals and sound are up there with the best movies. Pine and Washington had real chemistry and Rosario Dawson (gorgeous woman) added a lot to this film. The Enemy... Dunn (sam's dad in Transformers) did a great job too. A few people got on my nerves though... the woman playing Pine's wife was so not believable. She had this look like she was watching paint dry. On the other hand, watch the very short segment of the train conductor/engineer driving the train full of kids. His face when there was an oncoming train was perfect... the guy went pale. All in all, a very good surprise.

An engineer and his conductor chase a runaway train down in an effort to stop it from doing massive damage to their home town. Not as exciting as the previews made it out to be. Perhaps I got my hopes up too high.

What should have been a predictable average movie is made into an intense never a dull moment great movie. Denzel is great and captain kirk is the newest brightest star in hollywood in my opinion.

Non stop action and stress. Denzel Washington is a cranky but has a lot of pride in his work, which is in all honesty something cool to see, even when he himself is getting shafted by the community. Excellent performance on his part. Rosario Dawson is quite intense in her performance, and doesn't take any crap from her coworkers or bosses who are all men. Younger actor Chris Pine demonstrates his ability to act and does a great job even when he is looked down at by his superiors. All three main characters make this a movie one I wouldn't mind seeing again in the future.

An edge-of-your seat thriller. I was sorry when it was over.

Same storyline as the Speed movies. Good acting and suspenseful.

Base on true events this is a great movie that gets the action and suspense mix just rigth. Both of the lead actors are very credible on their rolls.

This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. Refreshing not to have murders and sex controlling the screen. One of the best we've seen in awhile.

This is a solid thrill ride moving at a thousand miles an hour. My only problem with the film is the cliches in the story. I could have done without Denzel Washington's daughters in the film. They're presented with no substance and seem extremely frivilous in otherwise a super-charged out-of-control ride through Bruce Springsteen countryside. Still the most powerful and emotional train movie would have to be RUNAWAY TRAIN with Jon Voight and Eric Roberts. UNSTOPPABLE is a huge improvement from Tony Scott's other train movie THE TAKING OF PHELLAM 123.

An excellent action movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and which (for the most part) doesn't rely on superfluous or pointless scenes and sequences to pad it out. Good acting, and not longer than it needs to be. Great shots of the trains, and a nice peek into the world of railroading as well.

Wow I came out of there with a sore body as I was clenching myself together. That was a good action packed movie. Reminded me a lot of Speed... must see!!!

Good camera work to make a retard movie be put up on the big screen. How hard was it really to put a person on that train to switch the gear. So you failed at the beginning and what, you do not want to try again. Great CEO there! The conmercials show the best parts of the movie. So ya overall boring.

A robust nail-biter rooted in the gritty world of railroading. I would have given it a ten if it had not been for the skidding cop cars and swirling helicopters that seem obligatory fluff for any American thriller. The trains outclassed them.

I really liked it, the action starts a few minutes after the opening and you stay on the edge of your seat the whole time after!

I really liked the movie. It could've ended a little better but overall, good acting and good story.

Good movie! Found the personal lives to be vague causing a disconnect between the main characters and their loved ones. Would be more thrilling if the emotional connection existed, providing a better reason for the main characters to fight to stop the train.

Denzel was his usual charming everyman doing the extraordinary. For an action movie it was better written than is often bothered with in Hollywood movies that go 'BOOM' a lot. The movie gets the right balance of characters in deep introspective moments of their lives and things that go 'BOOM'. Nicely shot as well.

Not sure how this movie is getting such good reviews. Just saw it, and it was definitely sub par. For an action movie it was shot well and the acting was good. Story line was just had to many holes, very unbelievable. Good job making a story about choo trains suspenseful though.

My observations (SPOILERS): Not as suspenseful as the Jon Voight / Eric Roberts movie "Runaway Train". More should have been at stake than just a smalll town being contaminated with toxic waste; for example, the G20 meeting should have been taking place along the route of the speeding locomotive. The lowering of someone by helicopter was also employed in "Airport '75". They should have kept on trying this helicopter method- it was clearly the most logical solution!

Such an entertaining movie! A very simple story, but entertaining! The pace is perfect! Far better than Harry Potter, which is a drag...

Just go and see it... non stop siting on the edge of your seat action with cool characters and no sex or violence. You'll wonder why the other movies are so bad.

Amazing movie, the suspense and the acting is really good. Denzel has done it again. It started kind of slow but the it kept getting better and better... the last time I saw something this exhilarating was SPEED... a must see!!
