I don't know what you guys are talking about, I had a good. This strangely is a return to the practice of building a movie around a potential star that originated outside of acting. In this case, female MMA. And hey, I like her. She really carried this thing and that gives her more potential to work off of if she continues with. While, I admit she wasn't perfect but for a first time, she could do a lot worse. Trust me. The action is great and brutal, the tone of the film is 60s spy thriller all over and I love it. Problems start to arise with the other, more talented, cast behind. They felt dead in delivery, surprisingly or not worse off than the star. Though, Douglas and Paxton were awesome. McGregor picks up by middle. Fassbender's dead in the water. Looks like he doesn't want to be there at all. Tatum's a joke of actor. The film also has such a washed out look to it, it's nauseating. The score is kinda by the numbers. The story gets kinda overcomplicated near the end. Like why was Banderas there at all? Whatever. Maybe with a bit more effort, this thing would've flew but hey I had fun. It's a cheesy spy thriller, what's wrong with that?
