Great performances by DiCaprio and Hammer. People complain about it being slow moving but it encompassed the birth and race to adulthood of one of the most well-known law-enforcement agencies in the world. Just because there was more than ten minutes between explosions doesn't mean it was slow. Hoover was a complex man, fighting corruption at all turns, including his own, and struggling with power, his home life, his sexuality. I thought the movie really showed all of that. Definitely worth seeing.
