I thought this mobie was very bloody and grusome. I thought the witches were very immortal looking, great job on the costumes. I would recommend this movie but I would warn them on the graphics.

If you like a lot of movie violence and pointless nudity like me this movie is a must see.

It was a really bad film and I fell asleep during it.

Lord and Lady Macbeth are represented as the most beautiful spouses possible in any drama I have seen. There is a dreamy cast to the events in the film which shifts from pleasant fancy to shocking nightmare vision. This gorgeous respectable pair carries out a dreadful murder, almost a father's murder of King Duncan. The Weird Sisters, hideous to observe, are the reality, in contrast to the splendid outward appearances. Look beneath the surface is Polanski's spiritual message in this captivating little artistic gem, faithful in modern terms to Shakespeare's profound original.

I had to view this movie as part of an English course, and I thought it was an interesting interpretation of one of Shakespeare's lesser works. (relative to other Shakespeare - "MacBeth" is still worth reading.) It had a very violent theme... Don't let the young ones see this one. This movie probably deserves an "8", but I'm a bit conservative today.
